Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Engaged and parents-to-be? Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: New parents and engaged? This 20-something foursome, who have brought or are bringing little rocker children into the world, all got together in NYC last night. I wonder if they talked about babies? From there, Joel was off to gush on stage calling Harlow his "one and only true love"— awwww! Meanwhile, Pete and Ashlee were off to stage a photo shoot with the engagement ring in their hotel to sell to photo agencies — ugh. While this whole pregnancy/engagement thing seems annoyingly calculated, apparently the mastermind behind it (um, Joe) isn't getting the response he wanted from the magazines. Maybe he should take the cue, lay off it, and let his daughter go about her life with Pete — baby or no baby — in peace for a little.

See, I think she looks better here than she usually does. She doesn't look so much like a bum wearing frumpy clothing and all. She actually is dressed like a girl, showing off that cleavage. She obviously wants to put her best boob forward since she's getting so much "unwanted attention"... ha ha ha, yeah right, they asked for it and are loving every second of it. Blech!

15I really wonder what Nicole Richie fills in under the "Occupation" column in forms. She is just famous by association(s). How I wish Nicky Hilton hadnt turned down the Simple Life offer, then we would never be seeing Richie.
I do not understand why people suddenly just warmed up to her just because she got knocked up. The popularity she is enjoying nowadays just for being a mother is annoying the hell out of me. There are so many other celeb mothers who are great mothers but I do not see people praising them as much. And these mothers were stable in the first place, before they had their babies.

22Who says that the kid should be number 1 in your heart?? When did that become law? I think the person you are married to (or have a child with in a commited relationship) should be just as important if not more than the kid sometimes. That's why there are so many divorces in America these days. People are constantly putting their kids first and the relationship suffers.

it's so sad though that her dad is such a freak. joe simpson is a creepy, creepy old man. he's disgusting and pimps his poor daughters out to make some money. it's sad when that's all that someone thinks about.
