Nick Lachey gave everyone in LA tickets to the gun show yesterday when he went out to buy groceries. Those tattoos used to be regulars on MTV, and they're making a return to the network next week — he's set to star in the finale of Fresh Takes, the Dove-sponsored miniseries starring Alicia Keys that airs during The Hills. Not exactly the kind of comeback that we're hoping Nick would have, but some work is better than no work ... right? As an added bonus, the show is only 5 minutes long, so Nick will still have lots of time to do the important things in life — like hit the gym.

2His cd is coming out soon and they've leaked a few samples for possible singles yesterday. This is just one thing for exposure to get his name back in the news. Plus, he's producing a show for MTV.

8He just finished his album,which he stated recently should drop sometime around summer. I think that's why he's trying to get back in shape....for all the promotional stuff that comes with it. He's starting to look good again.

15As for his acting...well I say go for it on this show, and on any other show. Nick needs all the experience in acting that he can get right now. So I consider this a great thing.
