It's a good thing Johnny Depp is so gracious with his fans, because there seem to be more and more of them coming out in droves to see the actor on the set of Public Enemies in Chicago. Johnny spent yesterday playing gangster while people patiently waited for him to come out and say hi. After a long day of filming, Johnny looked happy to sign autographs proving he really is one of the nicest guys in the business.

3Rafaela, every two or three months they (gossip sites and magazines) come up with his possible marriage. I think he is already "married". He's been living with Vanessa since 1998 and has two beautiful children with her. That's more than many many Hollyweird marriages, don't you think? *this is the reasonable, rational fan talking*.

17Okay now i absolutely LOVE johnny depp and think it is great that he is so wonderful to his fans BUT if kabbamodern wants to say she thinks his acting is terrible, why can't she? I may think she is wrong, but it is just her opinion. I don't think it is cool to go around telling other people what they can and can't say on certain posts. If everyone could only post when they agree with the majority(even if it is an overwhelming majority!) of readers, imagine how boring that would be. But that's just my two cents...

27I cannot wait for this movie! I am so excited because I think John Dillinger was one of the more interesting criminals of the 20th century, and Johnny is simply divine. What a marriage of character & actor this is going to be imo.

30What a great picture and just goes to show how much he respects his fans. A correction though, this is in OshKosh Wisconsin, not Chicago. He actually spent time each of the 4 days of filming in OKosh meeting people, after sometimes an 18 hour work day for him. There aren't too many other celebs that will do that. He is sure a class act. He's done this at every location where they've filmed. He even met a few fans in Chicago a few weeks ago that waited for him after a night shoot that ended at 6 in the morning--gotta love the guy's generosity.

37I have been blessed ( and I truly mean that) to have met Johnny twice. At the Pirates 2 and 3 premieres. Both times he was so sweet, and very patient and humble.
I got a hug and kiss the 2nd time so I can die happy now HA!!
Honestly he truly IS one of the most humble, gracious and down to earth people I have ever met!
