Rather than stay home and watch herself on the return of Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester was among the beautiful people out at the opening night of "La Fille Du Regiment" at the Met. Joining little Blair Waldorf was the likes of Eva Mendes and Ginnifer Goodwin. It wasn't all ladies, however, because the most fashionable couple in all the land (one of them at least) Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger were arm in arm on the red carpet. While I really can't wait to see Josh's return to the small screen this fall, (tangent warning) did anyone else catch fellow Creek-er James van der Beek on How I Met Your Mother? Amazing.

13I'm so mad I forgot to watch Dawson on HIMYM last night!! Pacey looks amazing as usual, can't wait to see his new show. Kinda funny that Pacey was at an event with Blair--seeing how DC was the GG of it's time--only way way better and plus Katie Holmes pre-tom. Ahhh, good ol' pre-tom Katie. Gotta love her.
14Leighton is really stunning here- I honestly hadn't paid much attention to her, but she is really adorable. I like Emmy's dress, too- very fun.

16I didn't get to see Dawson on HIMYM either Britt, but not because I didn't try. Some MORON hit a transformer in our neighborhood and we had no power from 8:05 until 8:55. JUST IN TIME to miss BOTH Big Bang Theory & HIMYM. I was super ticked off! LOL
