As much as Rosie O grates my nerves, I hate Elisabeth Hasselbeck and hope these rumours are true. I don't even really watch the View, but any time I have, I've wanted to jump through the screen and slap that narrow-minded little twit. Can't stand her!

i used to love rosie, but lately she has turned into a jerk and bully... she's such a hypocrite - always accusing people of being ignorant/sexist/racist whatever, but not accepting ANY view point that doesn't agree with her's...

Elizabeth is extremely narrow minded, but Rosie should not be so hypocritical. I am liberal, but it is a pet peeve of mine when people don't respect other's opinions (you don't have to agree with them, but resorting to essentially calling someone an idiot?!).

It probably wasn't the best retort to Elizabeth's comments, but Elizabeth is about as sharp as a bowling ball, and usually you don't need to make fun of her or put her down, because she usually does a good job of that herself.

I can't stand either one of them so I don't even know who to root for here.

But, seriously, it would probably be quicker to list who HASN'T clashed with Rosie than who HAS.

Tough to take a side since I can't stand Elisabeth Hasselbeck or Rosie. Hasselbeck's career peaked with The Look for Less.

Rosie has a problem with everything and I'm sick of her being so opinionated and putting everyone else down. I think Elizabeth is great and did not deserve to be treated the way Rosie treated her she's been on the show many more years than Rosie and Rosie doesn't have the authority to treat her like a kid. Rosie needs to get cut from that show before everyone else quits.

To have Rosie say we are uninformed.. no matter what side we are on is BS!! I READ the newspaper and watch the news.. I hate when people get personal when they don't agree with you. For me, that's a sign that they can't provide a strong argument, so they have to get petty. Rosie gets too passionate about certain issues, and when people disagree with her, she gets hostile.

Not that I'm defending Scientology (psh, fat chance), but at least THEIR brainwashing wouldn't have included drugs in order to control her. So maybe it would have saved her, in a weird sort of way. On the other hand, if she really did have a life threatening seizure disorder and wasn't allowed to take drugs for it she probably would have died anyway. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I think its crap that they pit one young not very well informed conservative against three liberals on the View... which I think was the point. They are able to bully her around whenever they want. Elizabeth usually gets along well with Rosie, its Joy Behar that gives her the most grief.

I watch The View only if it happens to be on at my gym, but the few times I have seen Elizabeth trying to make a point, she has come off as narrow minded and not very intelligent. Oh, and did I mention annoying? JMO!

Not a fan of either one, but if I had to choose a side, I'd side with Elisabeth only because I hate when people are condescending to people because of their age. However, I sometimes do it, too, (on this board, no less) so it has made me take a closer look at myself. So, um, thanks Rosie? And I apologize to anyone I've ever asked, "How old are you, again?" in a condescending manner. I suck.

elizabeth is smart, intelligent, and one of the only independent non-brainwashed people in hollywood! i hope she hangs in there and is able to stand her ground!
