Britney Spears has been treated like an ATM more than once in her life, but yesterday afternoon it was her turn to visit the bank with dad. She's got strict limits on her spending these days, but it looks like her allowance is not only going to charity, but being put towards some more conservative clothing (just not new boots). Whether or not she ends up Meeting Our Mothers again, we're excited to see what of all her many supposed projects Brit actually follows through with. And if it's still spending time relaxing and getting back on track for a while, when she's starting to look this good again, we're cool with that too.

I've come to accept that she will never have a sense of style. It seems that she doesn't even try to coordinate her clothing to look somewhat decent.

On the positive side, she's taking care of herself and that is obvious. Look at her quads and even her arms are looking more toned. And her nails are manicured. woohoo!
And to all the brit haters, I'm NOT congratulating her on looking so-so. I'm congratulating her on the noticeable improvement. Being the best friend of a long-term, bi-polar sufferer, you learn to notice the small things that mean they're getting healthy.
15RoseD, i think that you have the right idea, sometimes we have to accept things: Brit's never gonna be style queen, Lindsay's never actually going to quit drinking and Paris is going to keep on being famous for doing nothing much.

17I don't mind the top so much its just those damn boots. I.hate.those.boots. I have a favorite bag I carry everyday to work because it's practical and I'm not a millionaire, but the boots, sheeesh.
Ya know, I guess it's okay if Britney isn't very stylish. It's kind of endearing, why should she necessarily care about fashion? It's better than drinking too much like Lindsay and being famous for nothing like Paris. I'll admit I listen to Brit's latest CD at the gym, so even when she was losing it and ill at least she was producing something decent.

28Who decides what a "sense of style" is? You can't really say someone has "no sense of style". Unless they cover their eyes and pick the first thing they lay their hand on (which is a style in and of itself). Just because it's not "trendy" or not what you would wear. A "sense of style" is personal while being "stylish" is more of a mass group effort.
The Olsen twins for example...
I think Brit is well put together for her style-minus the boots.
I would not wear it... but there are tons of things that I would not waer that someone else would...

41Okay, will someone give me a serious answer? What is wrong with the boots? I mean, okay they're scuffed and need a good polish, but I see a LOT of women, (especially around here, and also down south) boots with a short dress or shorts is really popular. I just don't understand everyones aversion to the boots! I have a pair of shoes that I wear with EVERYTHING. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, and frankly I don't care what people think of them, I'm gonna wear 'em! I'd bet shes about the same way after dressing, acting and performing for the public based on what WE wanted for all those years.
42yah mykie, the thing is- they are boots! I mean, you buy some cowboy boots and you are going to wear them a lot. 1. It takes forever to break in boots. 2. Once, they are broken in, they are the most comfortable things in the world.
43If they were some strappy pair of sandals or even a pump, I could understand everyones issue with her wearing them a lot. But I mean, I have about 30 pairs of shoes (a lot for a guy), and I find myself wearing the same 3 pairs all the time
I guess I must be someone with no sense of style cos I absolutely love the top, lace and all. I would buy one if I could find it. It would be nice with a pair of jeans and maybe sandals. Looks so comfy.

45Yep Bri, I'm right there with ya. I have this god AWFUL ugly pair of lace up black boots, but I'm tellin' ya, if I'm going to be on my feet for any length of time, they're what I wear, to HELL with what people think.
46And Suza, I'd wear it too if I were younger. It's one of those tops that younger women can wear, and older women can wear, but us "tweeners" would look ridiculous. LOL
