Ashlee Simpson continued playing the "is she or isn't she" pregnancy game when she paid a visit to the Ellen Degeneres Show, airing today. When Ellen asked her point blank if there was a baby on the way, Ashlee said:
- On the topic:"Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is something that I choose personally not to discuss. Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something? Because I don't think I do."
- On keeping it a secret as long as J Lo did: "No, I’m not. I swear. I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that."
Thanks to her fitness regimen, we're not surprised that she looks as petite as ever. We're all for respecting her right to privacy, but if she's just trying to get publicity for her new album, we've got to say that the whole thing is really getting old.

9i actually am with her on this one. a lot of people don't feel confident announcing the pregnancy early on. they don't want to jinx it. so, it's not as annoying as she normally is to me.
10first it was jessica, then paris and now this one takes top honors as most annoying celebrity. requirments include; 1) thinking you're much more interesting than anyone, even your mother, thinks for are, 2) have no marketable talent, BUT 3) be willing to show more of your body than everyone but your obgyn sees at a moments notice, 4) many plastic surgeries, 5) talk in circles about yourself and seem VERY VERY IMPRESSED.
11jessugar....ahhh very true. I waited until I was 3 months along to tell anyone...just to make sure everything was going along smoothly. I guess if she is, I can't blame her for not saying anything yet. We will just have to wait to see.
12i don't blame her for not saying anything if she is- but she's being purposefully coy about it. a simple no comment would do- she just keeps dragging it out and hinting but never saying. its super annoying. and i don't care either way but everyone feels the need to keep asking her about it!
13Having heard her sing recently, I'm convinced that this is the only way she can get any pr for her album, because she has no talent.

17Come on - isn't there more interesting and important news. This is getting old fast! She needs to say "yes" or "no" and get on with it. It's just a way for her to keep her name out there. She should just use her talent and forget the games. She needs to grow up.

I find her much more attractive in pictures than in person. Maybe it is her mannerisms that take away from her appearance, hm
I also agree about the whole waiting until a certain trimester or whatever. I feel like so many people miscarry these days, why put yourself through the extra hurt & anguish by having it become so public.

34Guess pimping her stupid album didn't work since she's projected to sell 50,000 copies. HA! Mariah Carey carey sold close to 500,000 copies this week and they're saying that even though she's at #1, it's not good compared to other artists.

41What would anyone talk to her about? Her non-music? She's about as pregnant as Ellen is. She needs this so someone would give her a write up or have her on their show. All you need to say is a clear and emphatic NO to the pregnancy rumor but this dancing around only confirms what a hack she is.
42She rode her sister's coattails to get a record deal. She literally went, "Daddy I want a record deal" and got one. She didn't even have to work as hard as her sister did to get where she is. I don't love Jessica's music but I respect the sh*t she had to eat to get where she is (failed record contracts, folding record companies, being dropped,singing at state fair hog calling contests). Her reality show got her two top selling albums and now she's going to realize how hard it really is.
