I love Jessica, I mean what has she ever done so wrong other than come off not as smart as people think she should... I didn't even like her when she was married to Nick, because she was so spoiled and selfish. He jumped through way too many hoops for her. She sacrificed her marriage for a "career" that never took off. She had a decent voice when she was younger, but she sacrificed a career in Christian music to compete with (and lose to) all the other pop tarts.
Change of hair color, gluing herself to John Mayer, distancing herself from her lech father...too little too late.
Maybe if this movie tanks, they'll stop calling her. She's not the only big rack in town.

If Nick thought Jessica was bad he should've bailed, but he didn't (I think it may--may--have had something to do with the fact that she was the bigger celebrity at the time and he didn't want to fade into the background). He's a grown man so he's responsible for himself.

I don't dislike her, but she's not one of my favorites either. I'm glad she seems to be taking back the reins from her father, but she's not so outrageously talented that I care if she makes a comeback or not. She could fade into obscurity, and I wouldn't miss her.

I think she treated Nick very horribly after the divorce. On the show, I thought she was lucky to have him put up with her, and he was so good to her. After the divorce, to hear her talk on and on about finally being "free" was really insensitive and selfish.

It does seem she has learned a bit, however. She took a bashing in the press for the past year, and I think her new lower profile shows some growth as a human being. I have never been a fan of her acting or music, though, so she'd have to do something pretty interesting to make me spend money on one of her projects.

For me, Jessica really sold out in that video where she's washing the car, basically soft porn. I can still remember when her debut single 'I wanna love you forever' came out way back in 1999. Her voice blew me away. The problem is, the songs given to her don't suit her voice. That's why her albums haven't been a major success. She should stick to ballads, the way Mariah did in the early days. Her voice totally suits them.

And nobody know why she and nick broke up, it's not fair for her to be getting all the blame. I am sure Nick was at fault too. I feel Jessica gets picked on way too much. I feel sorry for her.
