Hollywood All in Black at the White House
Hollywood went to DC on Saturday night for the White House Correspondents Dinner and apparently left the color in Cali. Ben and Jen looked gorgeous as usual and brought some A-List acting clout to the reality TV infested event. Jenny McCarthy also looked pretty stunning, though that dress seems a bit risqué for the nature of the evening. Joy of joys, Heidi and Spencer made it after all though instead of black she's re-wearing the same exact outfit from her Kitson trip last weekend. Faux. Pas. I wonder what LC thought of that. I also wonder if they invite the A lists and then if they RSVP no they move on to the B lists and C lists etcetera until they get what they have here, which are basically D, E, F listers...

16Heidi and Spencer sooo made a big deal about the invite last week just to get some media attention. They were going all along, just wanted some attention for it. THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN IT! Stop posting on these people, please. They offer nothing, absolutely nothing.

I heard that Craig Ferguson did a good job - which is awesome, because I love that guy. Performing in front of that notoriously hard to please crowd has to be increadibly intimidating!
But yeah - what are all those reality stars at the dinner? WHY? It makes NO sense.

21Um, why were Lauren, Heidi, and Spencer on the guest list? Maybe in reality TV world they're "important" but I think it's pretty sad that they would be invited to the White House.

29Jenny looks amazing. Heidi and Spencer need to stick to the west coast. You do not come to the white house dressed like you were going to a store opening. Bring some class.
30With the small exception of some people who actually HAVE some talent like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Marcia Cross, Chelsea Handler and Tracey Ullmann, loads of losers. Maybe George W. Bush invited them to not look like the dumbest one there.
31I love seeing the Afflecks together - especially cause it happens so rarely. They really go out of their way to avoid red carpet stuff. And now she is going to do some 6 picure deal and he is producing and casting a new movie and going to Africa for three weeks - I fear that by the time they have another baby, Violet will be old enough to babysit.
32What kind of weird dinner is this? This guest list is so RANDOM and a lot of these people..don't make any sense @ the White House. Totally don't get it. 40Yes, please could someone explain to us what exactly this dinner is because that is the most random gathering of people.
41Tables at the dinner are bought by different media groups, magazines, etc. They are allowed to invite whoever they want to sit at their table, hence the weird assortment of guests. I believe Ben & Jen were guests at the ABC table along with Marcia Cross. Eric Dane came as a guest of GQ Magazine. People Magazine had a table but I'm not sure who their guests were. Speidi came as a last minute guest of Fortune Magazine. If I get more specifics, I'll post them.
