Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival celebrated its 9th anniversary this year and as usual a whole host of celebrities made the trek out to the desert to enjoy heat and music. Nicole wasn't the only person there with a Madden as a date, Paris and Benji were hand in hand to enjoy the weekend. Sienna Miller and Kelly Osbourne were attached at the hip most of the time while Shia LaBeouf flew solo (actually looking pretty good again). Prince was one of the weekend's most talked about performers but Sean Penn also had his own moment up on stage. He was there to announce and embark on a cross-country trek using a fleet of biodiesel buses. Of course, the festival looks like a blast that resulted in probably more than a few sunburns and probably a few days recuperation for everyone.

8Prince was late and came out said some stuff (Hello Coachella) then left the stage, which annoyed me so I left. But I saw some of the worst sunburns I'd ever seen in my life this weekend. It was bad, but what do you expect in 100+deg!!!
Mark Ronson ROCKED it, such a good show. So was floggin molly!
ps Kelly Osbourne barely sang with Mark Ronson, I couldn't even hear her. I have it on video and just watched it again. I didn't even realize it was her during the show!

15I'm out here in the desert near by. It was 94 yesterday and will be 101 - 103 today. We didn't go but I saw some people with wrist bands yesterday at lunch.

22jasmint - for future reference, always check a couple days before the show for single day passes. They hold on to a bunch then release them then. My boyfriend and I bought our Single Day Saturday passes on Friday for regular price off the website!!

28I only go every other year and this was my off year which was great because the lime up was pretty lame if you looked at it as a whole.
