I’ll always remember her for those comments she made about how hoity toity and how much more sophisticated Europeans are than Americans at the dinner table, as if she’s ever had dinner with a normal person in America. It’s ironic because I've always found her looks to becompletely bland and blue collar-ish. JMO

It's a big improvement that she cut her hair, but she's still nowhere as beautiful as her mother. Kind of boring, and not such a great actress. She's good in some things, but over time, it becomes apparent that her range is limited.

She has always been classy, beautiful, and intelligent. It seems we condemn people in this country that aren't 100% open about their lives or bouncing around whoring out their children in tabloids. I respect how private she is because it's clear she is only in show business because she loves to act. Not because she wants to see how many articles US Weekly can write about her.

i feel like she created some of those 'airs' about herself over time. she was one of the first to talk about her health conscious diet and all that - and she never really partied and the sort when she lived in hollywood. and now that she's in london, it's like she went there to be secluded - that's kind of what madonna did too right? it's good though to see her back in the mix. i had seen the previews to iron man so many times and didn't realize that she was in it until a few days ago.

she looks great in the mag though - we should all be so lucky to look like that after 2 kids.

She has an amazing British accent in the roles that she plays. I don't know that I've ever heard her speak with an accent in real life. It seems that some of the things she's said in interviews have been skewed to portray her in a bad light; she's always seemed pretty normal to me. But then the comments she made when she married her British husband and moved to London were around the time when emotions were still high about 9/11 and we were just going to war in Iraq. I think it p*ssed people off more because of the timing than because she essentially said she liked living in the UK better than in the US. Who cares? I bet many of us would like it better there too.

She looks so incredibly stiff in these photos - they don't do much to dissuage (is that a word?) her claims. I saw her on Letterman last night, personally I think she looks better without all of the dark make-up like she had on during her appearance.

I'm not a big fan of the photo. I really liked how she had stayed away from gratuitous Hollywood type stuff (thus her "ice queen" image) and now it seems she is pandering to it. At least she still keeps her family out of the media. I am so tired of seeing celebrities exploit their children in the name of publicity regardless if they give the money to charity or not. Yes, someone is bound to snap a picture of their child with the stalkeratzi around, but I still don't find that a reason to allow the media into your child's life. I often think about how ironic it is that if a guy was following an average woman around and constantly taking photos of her it would be something she could go to court and stop. If a female celebrity is followed all over town with or without her child the man taking the pictures is "just doing his job". What a sad thought that some people think that celebrities are a commodity and no longer a human being. If they are not at their job or doing press for it, leave them alone!

Lol, sorry to go off on a rant. I just had to get my displeasure with the paparazzi off my chest! I admit I used to enjoy US and the like, but I am done with it now. I feel I am feeding the paparazzi when I buy them anymore! I do get People magazine from time to time, but sadly even they will stoop to getting a paparazzi photo at times. I try and see those photos are in there though before I buy it.

Amesabelle, I agree with your take 100%. Johnny Depp likes living in France more and no one makes a big stink about that. If I were a celebrity I wouldn't live here either with how bad our paparazzi are. I must confess though I think the UK has a pretty bad paparazzi problem too though, she may just not have experienced it.

she seems like that popular girl in high school, the one who was pretty, but not beautiful; relatively smart but not too much so; a B-kind of person who always thinks that they're A+. The person who thinks that everyone spends their free time thinking about the 'rarified' air they live in. How self important. What a blowhard. I hate to break it to her, but really, she does not occupy as much of my time or interest as she seems to think she does. She's just not interesting, lovely or intelligent enough to do so.

I feel like she's having a bit of a "sexy" crisis. She's been showing a lot more skin and I'mn not sure that look fits her well. The dresses she's been wearing to the premieres are extremely short and honestly unflattering.

This so weird. She has NO sex appeal at all.
