John Mayer stepped out of the hair salon in NYC yesterday, showing off his freshly blow-dried, fluffy new 'do. John is so excited about his '80s reminiscent haircut that not only was he already brushing out his locks as he headed into Armani, but he blogged about his new hair goal — a full-on feathered style. We hope Jennifer Aniston likes his new look, since apparently the couple is just starting to heat up and already miss each other. Maybe she can bring back the '90s Rachel haircut to keep up with her man's throwback hair.

15Reading the comments, it's funny how many people who post about him DON'T get him. Maybe it IS pretention, because getting his humor and seeing past him being "a douche" (as it was so eloquently put) feels a little like being part of some sort of club. Anyone who takes him seriously with this stuff needs to get a clue. He's playing with the tabloids and the paps. If he's going to be bothered by them day-to-day, why not have some fun with it?

He's a douche b/c he's been tomcatting around with oh about 7 different women in about 5 months. If he was one of my guy friends I'd tell him the same thing..."Dude, You are being a douche." And I do believe "douche" is quite the eloquent and ladylike phrase.
23tomcatting with 7 chicks in 5 months sounds like a lot of guys and girls and i know, who date and flirt lots of people me included if they are not in a committed relationship which he did get out of 5months ago.
24Dating 7 people in 5 months is a rarity when you're single? Or perhaps it seems so because when a non-celeb does it, it isn't plastered on magazine covers and on blogs. Dating doesn't make someone a douche.
It wasn't said that anyone is having personal phone calls with him, but haven't you ever "gotten" an author, a columnist or, say, a song writer without ever meeting them? It's not that much of a stretch, is it? Assuming you read things other than celebrity blogs, that is.

31he looks so ridiculous, and while his blog comments may be amusing, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt, I used to like Mayer a few years ago when he seemed to be in the music industry for the sake of being a musician - these days it's about the number of celebrity dates he accumulates as well as being a tabloid fixture for lame stunts as above
