Hmm, that leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth to be honest. I didn't find it all that cute, and I'm not sure anything associated with the cause of freeing Burma should be cute.

I know they're just trying to bring attention to a worthy cause but I think a straightforward "Hi I'm Jennifer Aniston, terrible things are happening in Burma, please help." might have been more effective than a flippant comedy sketch. "Go free Burma, I don't care what it costs."?

I totally agree with you. To be honest acts kinda dumb in her Rachel Green mannerisms, in that ad, coz she is suppose to be playing herself (?) and showed that she doensnt know anything about Burma's situation. And that she only wanted to go free Burma because of the idiot Woody H.

BTW, in that new pic with Owen, you can totally see that her profile has been altered because of her new nose, Her chin, which she is holding,lol, looks longer! Its like you can even do a handshake with it.

them. They are all going to be offbeat and ironic skits to
call attention to Burma. Jeremy Woodrum, co-founder of the
U.S. Campaign for Burma said it is to call attention.

God I love that woman. I think it's a good change from the typical "I'm Jennifer, please help us bla bla bla" kind of thing. Maybe it will make some people feel that they're laughing about a serious issue, but I don't think so.

I think she's really funny. All the cast from Friends is.

My thought is that like it or not, more people are going to watch this kind of thing than something simpler. Although the point is to get people to go to the site (www.burmaitcantwait.org) and sign the petition, and without a link on this entry I can see how maybe that would be lost. But the point is to lend visibility to the campaign, and in its context on the original site, I think that it's effective in doing that.
