After a productive weekend working on Ugly Betty, Lindsay Lohan was back out with Samantha Ronson yesterday. While Lindsay enjoys her LA life, back in her native LI, Dina is the Lohan making headlines. For some unknown reason (a desire for press?) just in time for Mother's Day, a Long Island group — Mingling Moms Organization — named Dina mom of the year! I mean between stories of all night partying and putting her younger kids on a reality TV show, why not right? Ugh.

4that's just crazy talk! i think that the organization should look at how Ali is turning out to be just like LL and then see what they really think of Dina's mother skills. that's just insanity.

10Yes because turning your daughters into cash cows and publicly airing your family's dirty laundry always warrants an award. My god, this organization's validity just tanked. Frankly it's an offense to mothers out there that are actually doing a good job.

That makes me feel a little better, but still. How irresponsible can you be to honor her with something like this? Just because your kid is famous doesn't mean a darn thing about parenting skills! Heck, if anything, it shows that you didn't protect your kids from the industry!!!!

Don't matter that the main point for consideration was residence on Long Island. Dina Lohan is far from mother of the year. Dina Lohan shouldn't even be on a list, since she seems to have shed her role as mother as soon as she realized Lindsey had a shred of talent.
