This morning's custody hearing seems to have gone as well as could be expected for Britney Spears. After spending all morning in court, both on the stand and in a private meeting with Kevin and their representation, Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan addressed the media outside of the courtroom. He said that while there was no custodial change, everyone was very pleased to see Britney's progress and that the judge decided she will be getting a "graduated expansion of time" with her sons. There were no specific details given about what her new visitation entails. The next hearing to check up on Brit's progress is scheduled for July 15. Hopefully it will be all good things from here on out for the pop star and her baby boys.

it's probably best for everyone that she take it slow with custody, visits, etc.
That is good about more visitation. I don't think there should be a change in custody until Britney can prove that she can function on her own without the help of her mother and father.
according to usweekly, she got overnight visitations
that was expected and deserved
Good
good for Britney. I really think she is on her way back! At least I hope so for the sake of her kids.
Is that a scrunchy in her hair?
Are scrunchies bad?
The custody did not change, but she got a heck of a lot more visitation with the boys. 3 days a week and moving towards an overnight visit. It was a huge victory for her. Again, it's temp. until July, which is why they say nothing permanent has changed. But the court did acknowledge she has progressed. Haters to the left. It's good the boys can see their mother again.
And Mark Vincent Kaplan is the biggest media ho ever good lord. someone give that man a job on tv, he obviously wants one.
I'm happy for her- I'm sure the fact that she is getting more time with them shows that her behavior is better but its about consistency and keeping it up!
Yay Brit Brit-
I guess I kind of expected this. I think it's best to take it slow.
HATERS that is such a stupid word
I have never been a Britney fan and quite frankly find her annoying....however, I don't want to see her fail, and I am happy for her, her children and everyone else involved that things are looking up. I also praise the judge for giving her a little more time, acknowledging that she has been much better, but at the same time not making a hasty decision and giving her back all her parental rights. This is a step in the right direction, and even a non-Britney person like myself can appreciate and be happy for that.
Tmz said that she got 3 days she gets to see the kids and i wish PoP would have used the pictures from today...she looks really good!
i hope she can get a bit more privacy back and try to have as normal a family environment as possible for her little boys
anya_t that is the same question I was asking.
Anyways July 15 is my B-Day.
Good for Britney - I think she needs to work in to these things
She's been seeing the boys three mornings a week for quite awhile now, since her father took control of her life. If they are going to keep adding to her visitation time, what happens if the conservatorship ends in July? Although it could be made permanent.
i'm a bit disgusted the way Spears has been made an example of by the system there in the states. generally they won't even take abused babies away from serious crack wh*res until it's too late, but look the hell out if you're a fallen pop star - whole other set of rules for you girl!
That sounds about right. There's no way she could get any custody right now.
That sounds better.
