It was another weekend of celebrating for Jamie Lynn Spears as her due date inches closer. On Saturday she got all dressed up for baby shower No. 2 and on Sunday it was off to church with her fiancé and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One thing's for sure, Mother's Day is about to become a whole lot more for this mom-to-be. While Britney and Lynne were back in LA for the important weekend, the pop star left her parenting advice with her little sister last weekend. Whether or not Jamie Lynn's little one is the celebrity baby you're most excited to see, the new Spears girl in our lives is just around the corner.

3I feel guilty commenting on how cute she looks when she's a pregnant 16 year old, but I really do love both the dresses
4she's not my pick for 'celeb' mom to be - or whatever..but i guess there was enough controversy around her that people are interested to see what kind of mom she'll turn out to be like. must be nice to have more than one baby shower though.
it's got to be hard on her for her parnets to be out in LA all the time, but for her, at least it's a bit of freedom. i'm sure that we just don't hear about it but that her grandparents are probably there all the time with her. she's not even legal yet...so i'm sure she can't really be alone all the time.

12A 16 year old shouldn't be using the word fiancé... The entire ordeal, and he family even, just disgusts me.

I just hope she's ready and prepared for it all, and even though she's young she has more money and resources than most 17-year-old mothers-to-be will ever have, so I guess something positive. I guess I'm just the type of person that knows that things can always be much much worse.

15Tacky outfit if you ask me. She could've looked cute in flats, instead of 5-inch heels while pregnant.
