New parent Halle Berry was ecstatic to announce her status as a mom at Saturday's 15th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women in LA. The event raised money for women's cancer research and was a perfect way to honor Mother's Day apart from the usual flowers and cards. Halle was one of thousands of women and men out for the event, which was co-hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba and Tom Selleck. Little Nahla's a bit too young to participate just yet, but someday she'll be proud of her mama for being such an active participant for such a wonderful cause.

Damn those pants are awful.
I did the Run/Walk this year and it was an amazing event -- I was so (pleasantly) surprise to see how many people came out for it!
gorgeous as always
so pretty
Dear Halle,
You look so normal yet gorgeous. I adore you.
pretty
I like her a lot!
LOVE her.
Her outfit is pretty frumpy. But she looks naturally pretty otherwise.
I love her!
Those that are complaining about the outfit.... I am just curious - what do you guys expect her to wear to a RUN a few weeks after giving birth? She's obviously bigger then she was before, and still has a prominent baby belly (as she should). So she's trying to hide the extra-weight, while looking cute and being comfortable. Sure, she could wear spanx, and dark long pants, and whatever - but why bother? What's wrong with looking like a normal cute relaxed new mommy?
DMBloyola6 - I was there too! This was my 3rd year and the first year I ran it! It's such an awesome event I LOVE it!! And seriously, the woman just had a baby and is out supporting a 5K and everyone is bagging on her pants? jeez. I think she looks great and good for her to support such an awesome cause.
I think she looks cute!
great point hockey princess
Yea to all my LA girls who went! My company does all of the graphics for this event, and it's really close to my heart. Such a HUGE amount of work goes into this all year. I was in the backstage area and saw Halle up close. She's super short and looked gorgeous! What she was wearing looked like what 50,000 people at the event were wearing (or better in a lot of cases!). Plus, it was a little chilly that morning, too. She really looked so normal and friendly... it was unexpected and nice change of pace as far as seeing celebrities goes!
New mom or not, the pants are awful. *shrug* I own a pair that are similar, but I wouldn't dare step out of the house in them. They're for breakfast/evening loungin'.
I think any comments about her outfit are funny. Everyone at the Run/Walk was lucky I was wearing actual pants! Getting up at 5:30 on a Saturday morning to run 5K was hard and I give Halle major props for all of it -- I think she looks adorable, comfortable, and appropriate.
She always looks gorgeous. And yes, the pants are a bit awful but definitely practical. You can't begrudge the poor lady for wanting to be comfortable at a run!
I'm a yoga-pants or capri tights girl when I go for runs. Baggy sweats end up riding up... So they're ugly and uncomfortable.
love her!
I like how normal she looks. I don't care if the outfit looks frumpy or bad. Oh well.
My mom thinks she is pretty but I dont agree. She needs to do another X-Men because her other movies are tanking. Another actor stricken with the Oscar curse.
she had a baby
Halle! Where are the Baby Pictures? lol! PLEASE! before brangelina's latest is on every Magazine/Tabloid cover. We've waited long enough.lol!
check out the wedding band.
nice catch fiestygirl.
and she looks fine - it's not like this is how she dresses when she's on the red carpet.
hmm what was she thinkin wearin them pants
she's gorgeous no matter what she's wearing and come on, she's walking/running for cancer
