After spending all day Saturday and Sunday with her boys thanks to increased visitation privileges, Britney Spears headed out to Mother's Day dinner with her own mom Lynne at Sur in LA last night. Looks like a happy holiday for Brit, and this morning Kevin's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went on the Today Show to talk about the new arrangement. On Britney and Kevin's relationship:
"If you're going to have two parents participate in the lives of raising their children . . . there has to be some camaraderie between them for that to be a meaningful expectation and reality. . . . When you go from where things were, when there was no visitation, to where they are now there will be some contact . . . there'd be some ability to exchange a camaraderie that is necessary and a function of co-parenting together."
Finally sounds like Britney and Kevin are in a good place working together to raise their boys. While he skirted around the question of the two doing TV together — questionable call? — we don't have long to wait to see Brit on the small screen again. You're all as excited as we are to see Brit on HIMYM again tonight!

Mark Kaplan need to shut the f*ck up
1somebody needs to burn those boots already.
2the boots are back
3her face looks diffrent
4hopefuly she gets a pair of new boots for mothers day!
5She looks really good here - minus the boots
6yeah, I was going to say that it seems like Mark Vincent Kaplan REALLY enjoys being Kevin's lawyer. He's always talking to the media...
7I think she is starting to take care of herself and that shows in her appearance! Nice change!
8So different from the last Mother's Day when she ignored her mom and refused to visit, while her mom was in the hospital with pneumonia over Mother's Day last year.
9she looks normal(ish)!!!
10She looks pretty good here, even the hair doesn't look too bad.
11yes, those boots have done their duty all right.
I can't quite figure it out: is she in shape or not? Sometimes she looks chubby but then everything gets turned all around and she looks slim. And it seems like it's within days. Is it just that most of the time she's a crappy dressy with bad posture?
12yay - i'm so happy that things are looking up for her.
it's a good thing. she looks
really good there - the lighter extensions suit her and she's looking like her old self a bit more. i hope that things continue
there was a post a while back about how she's losing money cause she didn't tour with her album...i think that there's still something that she coud do there - since she's got her act together and the singles are still getting a lot of air play...
13uhh....those boots! But other than that she looks fab. Her hair looks good too! Glad to hear things are working out for her.
14I just love her greasy and pieces-like hair...FAB!!!
15That Kaplan dude is such a media wh*re!!! Good for Brit that things are looking better for her. Her hair looks like a lion's mane in that second pic!!
16This is why:
A) THere needs to be a gag order
B) Brit SHOULD NOT be paying his legal fees
This Shark is racking in the cash hand over fist with this case
Brit looks good...I am proud of her. Slowly yet surely she is making progress all the way aound.
Maybe all the "she's not with her kids" banners will be taken down now
17Oh Brit looks good here! The hair sure looks better.
18Kaplan is probably making more money on his less famous cases. He's got a very successful law practice.
As for his media appearance, did he call the Today show, or did the Today show call him to ask for comments? All he does is clarify some points of the latest ruling.
19She looks really good here and at least the boots go with the outfit this time!
20Why does she insist on wearing those boots? They look beat to sh*t and probably stink to high heaven when she takes them off!
21I don't believe a word that comes out of Kaplan's mouth. Why does he constantly have to talk about her and the custody case? Can't this be private?
22SHE LOOKS GOOD!
23A) THere needs to be a gag order
--
There DOES need to be one, but sadly the judge said it's in the publics right to know so there isn't one. Because Kevin isn't "famous" and Britney is they think it's right. If Kaplan or Kevin asked for the gag order it could be granted, but since they don't want it and the judge agrees it's not happening.
The sad thing is Britney is probably paying Kaplan to go on TV and talk about how wonderful Kevin is. The main reason Kaplan goes out and talks about her is to keep Kevin's name in the papers. Most people have forgotten about him by now.
24She looks good from the knees up
25I cant believe I'm going to type this, but she looks good, minus the booooooots
26Remind me not to go to Bally's...
27why wouldnt sh*tsh*t have to pay for his bills, no one told her to get into this mess she had the world in her hands, she had a good team behind her before kevin, there were plenty of people that did not approve of their relationship, but of course sh*tsh*t thinks she knows everything she did it anyway, so now here are her consequences for thinking she knew more about the real world
28This may not be a popular opinion, but Brit has done nothing to deserve more time with her kids. She's being forced to behave like an ADULT by her Daddy the Conservator, and Family Court.
29Daddy's holding the purse strings. That's how he's keeping Brit in line.
yay britney!
30
looking good!
31The increased time is still under full supervision. The real test will be post-July 30, when the conservatorship either ends or becomes permanent. If she can't take care of herself, I doubt a court will give her any custody.
32curse those boots
33Mark Vincent Kaplan needs to STFU! Loser!
34Very slight improvement.
35Aww Britney looks good here
36Who does Kaplin think he is , and why is Brittney paying him? Maybe because Kevin hase't worked since he started his job of using Brittney. At least she was able to be with them on Mothers Day thaks to the Courts no thanks to Kevin or Kaplin.
37dear britney, i wish you a happy mother's day
38friendship Misha
