David Beckham has his own personal pep squad when he takes the field with the Galaxy, so it's only fair that he does his fair share of cheering from the bench too. Yesterday he wore his Lakers pride on his chest to catch the game against the Utah Jazz in LA, and proved to be good luck! Los Angeles won the game, while David could rest easy knowing that even overseas, his #1 fan was still singing his praises.

22badkitty, oh definitely lakers fans can be lame like that sometimes (not all of us though), but not during playoffs - I was at the game last night and it was mellow at certain points but really really loud at others. The place was the most jacked I've ever seen Staples before the game started, like the Forum used to be when I was growing up.
sugarrr, you might not see a Jazz fan wearing a dumb cap like that but you wouldn't see Lakers fans bring blow-up dolls to their home games like a Jazz fan did at ESA

oh yes bag, i try to stay as neutral as possible these days in regards to other teams cause i have had too many years of having my blood pressure rise defending my lakers. I will say though, what the jazz fans did to Fisher was as classless as you can get, that is one thing that holds true for laker fans, we are very forgiving and very, very nice, (at least i think we are, maybe i am biased)

oh i forgot svenska, you must have had a blast at the game last night. remember the forum days? i remember them with so much happiness. of course not every fan is so blase, there are us die harders that yell and scream our ass*s off when we go to a game!! i was at the playoff game against the kings when horry hit that 3 in the last seconds and let me tell you, i have never seen a crowd react the way we did that day. i was hugging strangers!! it was great.

36hi velvet, yes, that was far and away the best game i have been to. that is how i get to when games are close. there is a joke in my house that it's the cleanest in l.a. cause i start cleaning when they get close like that and time is ticking away. i cannot stand it, so i start vacuuming or cleaning to burn off some of the anxiety i feel!! lets hope for a big win tonight!!!
