Pete and Ashlee are gearing up for their wedding this weekend, and the groom-to-be had some male support at a low-key bachelor party at Mr. Chow last night. The guest list was small, but included Joel Madden, his future father-in-law Joe Simpson, and his own dad. That's just the beginning of the wedding gossip, though, and here's the rundown of what else we're hearing:
- It's a good thing Pete knows what he's getting into with Joe, since Papa Simpson's constant involvement and unsolicited advice is supposedly part of the reason Tony dumped Jessica.
- Pete and Ash have been shopping around the photos of the upcoming ceremony and supposedly People snagged the rights for more than a million.
- The wedding will supposedly take place in Ashlee's parents' backyard in Encino.
- The couple has asked their guests to wear dark attire and not to be overdressed.
- Joe Simpson is begging Tony Romo to be Jessica's date for the wedding, even though the couple have called it quits.

Why would People magazine pay a million dollars for their wedding pictures? Do they honestly think they will make even half of that in sales because of these two....riiighhhtt!

14I wondered how long it would be before we read that Papa Joe was the reason for Tony and Jessica's break-up. What a shock!! You have to wonder why Jessica allows him to stay so involved in her personal life, yet Ashley seems to be able to control him more. Surely, everything we read in the magazines about the Simpsons is 100% true, LOL!!

26I don't understand why so many people dislike Joe Simpson, give him a break. What did he ever do to make so many people hate him? Ashlee is definitely pregnant, why else are they getting married in such a rush. Pete is UGLY. I don't know what Ashlee see's in him. The wedding will be hard for Jessica, memories of her wedding day will come back to her. I wish that she and nick would get back together. Loved them as a couple.

29Papa Joe is a friggn' creep. He is much to involved in his daughters' lives. And Jess keeps letting him ruin relationships for her...clearly she plays a role as well, she's doing something wrong, but Papa Joe sure adds more problems for her.
