Sounds like Suri Cruise might be ready to be a star already. Tom and Katie brought their fashionable 2-year-old to tap class in LA yesterday. Look at those tap shoes — so adorable and the perfect addition to her growing collection. After a week of visiting Connor on set — not to mention her, uh, parents in the business — little Suri's already honing her own talent. While a tap class full of 2-year-olds sounds pretty precious all around, I bet little Suri stole the show.

That's kind of cute.
hmmm... why can't they let her just grow up to be a normal kid? Why are they already turning her into a performing monkey at the age of 2? I just think its kinda sad...its nice when kids have activities like this, but age 2??? Not cool.
so cute.
Tap dancing at 2? Not necessary. Nor is drinking from a bottle and being carried everywhere. But she's still a cutie.
So now we have a sippy cup AND a bottle. Nice.
I agree. 2 is really young for that kind of lesson- her feet aren't even really developed yet! I hope it's the kind of class where the kids are all just sort of playing around and not taking it too seriously. I wonder whose idea this was- mama or papas? Maybe Katie Holms took tap as a kid and loved it or something.
Thank you Little K! I thought I was the only one here...a BOTTLE at 2? And a pacifier all the time?? It's terrible!
And I started ballet and tap dancing at 3, and I was the youngest in my class and most people when they hear about it today or see a picture of me back then, they don't believe that i was only 3 b/c that young is very uncommon. But 2? Wow! You're still learning walking techniques, but to be able to tap dance? It means even more so why she shouldn't be sporting a bottle still!
Dear God, thankfully Katie has been photographed with a sippy cup and people on blogs all over the world and chill!
I bet a dance class with 2 year olds is adorable and probably lots of fun for them.
I don't think they accomplish much at this age. The shows are just for show and to get her hyped up about going perhaps. I agree about the bottle, but it looks like they are trying to transition her to the sippy cup.
tap shoes!! thats soo cute
that how the robots roll little k, anyway the kid is creepingly cute
awww
I think 2 year olds should just be allowed to be ...well...2 year olds ...but that's my opinion....to each her own
Hmmmm....my cousin is a dance teacher, I think her classes are the younger kids. I'll have to ask her one of these days what the youngest age group is. (I have the age of 4 in my head...I don't know why, she might have been gushing about one of her classes at the last family gathering)
when angelina took her daughters to ballet or wherever she took them it was how cute they look but as suri is taken to tap dance classes it is she is not ready for tap dance classes you people are a set of bias and judgemental people
Brangelina's girls are normal cute and not always dressed up in party dresses. Suri's creepy cute in the chucky way and is NEVER in regular kid clothes. I bet they are grooming her to be the next Shirley Temple.
I mean how much tapping do some of you think Suri is actually doing? shes 2! shes probably just running around most of the time, its just something to do to keep a toddler up and going.
its cute! - IMO
Why isn't she wearing a leotard or dance outfit?
Suri's always up and going. According to mommy, kid doesn't go to bed until 11:00 or until her and Tommy Girl go to bed.
I was reading an article this morning about Leah Remini (who is also a Scientologist), and she said she is still trying to get her daughter off of the bottle. So what's the deal?? Do they think it will hurt the child's feelings to take the bottle away?? I don't get it.
Leah Remini is an idiot. Her daughter also still sleeps with her parents and throws tantrums if she doesn't get popsicles for breakfast.
c'mon she is just a lil girl! dont tell me u hate suc a cute lil pie!
JenFan1, why does tap class make her into a performing monkey? i took dance that early, as does my nieces, are we looking to cash that in? Kids take dance to improve motor functions, learn socially, exercise.....
maye thats so last month. Lilsugar already debated that.
i don't hate Suri, but she does creep me out. i wouldn't want her looking at me too long. do we EVER see this kid with her hair messed up or her clothes a little dirty or crying or eating an ice cream cone? it's not normal.
OMG LOOK EVERYONE LOOK.....
ITS A SIPPY CUP!!!! holy hell its about time.
robots!!i would love katie to get hammered one night and loose control and have fun and act her age
I agree nate45
awww, suri's the cutest celeb baby out there! woot!woot!
I don't think the bottle is the culprit, I think it's the sugar barley crap they give their kids that is hard to ween them off. Maybe it tastes better or is less grainy or something through a nipple? Who knows? All I know is that she's not my kid, so she could be drinking it from a toilet and it wouldn't make any difference to me.
We only see Suri out with her parents. I imagine she plays and gets dirty and eats ice cream cones when the paps aren't around.
drink from the toilet lmfao
rofl ROSA!
TAP DANCING is turning her into a performing monkey? Could she not just be having fun? My 18 month old goes to a (okay, slightly more free form) dance class, but I haven't contacted any agents yet. Should I worry I'm throwing away her childhood, all the same?
i took ballet and jazz starting from right before i turned 3 & there is nothing wrong with Leah Remini letting her daughter sleep with her i slept with my mom till i was 12 & I turned out fine!
That should be fun if they can do whatever they want
When I was in high school, I taught ballet to 3 year olds and it was more of a creative movement type of thing. We would put on some kid music and hold hands in a circle and point our toes among other things. Dance classes for young children are not structured like they are for adults. The kids in my class had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it. At this age it is just basic movement.
Dance classes burn up some of that energy 3 year olds are known for. I think that 2 or 3 years old is not too young for dance class, think about it, there are mommy and me yoga classes. Teaching our children to be active at a young age is a great thing considering most children in America are obese.
Maybe Suri just wanted tap shoes cause they click on floors.
Didn't YOU want clicky shoes when you were a kid? I totally did. and my mom didn't even wear heals! imagine having to witness Katie clicking all over the place.
Hey Sarah22 ~ did you wear diapers at age 4? 'Cause Leah Remini's kid does.
Suri looks cute, but I agree, she probably won't be learning too much right now. But hey, she is The Chosen One, so let's not under-estimate her!
why does she still have a bottle? my son turned 1 on the 4th & he is already done with the bottle.
Cute.
Caterpillar - sorry that my post was "so last month", but I read the article for the first time this morning and since we were discussing Suri drinking from a bottle, I felt like sharing what I read. I hate that it's already been debated, but I don't think it's the end of the world because I mentioned it. But again, I'm sorry if it offended you.
Um seriously people. It's a 2 yr. old child having fun in tap class with other little kids. It's something fun to do with your kid. What is the problem here?! (Insert the sound of me laughing here)
poor jealous Brangeloonie fans bashing TomKat and other celebs because deep down they see many good things and happy things for this family that their idols and own lives are so missing.
