Stealing in my opinion is NOT a silly lawsuit. Lindsey stole that girls expensive coat and the only reason she returned it was because the papz got pics of her wearing it! Then she's gonna lie and say that she never had it? Who wants that skank Lindsey touching their stuff, and stealing it like she owns the world. I hope the girl sues and wins!

Funny how the rich get treated, they steal your stuff and return it and if someone sues they are consisdered petty. Yet if a poor man stole something and returned it he would do time in jail. Ridiculous!

ITA! How is it silly? If the coat was damaged or ruined I'd sue as well. Wasn't it a heirloom? Hadn't it been her Grandmother's or something? I can imagine what the drycleaning bill was alone! All that fake tanner/skank smell ... eww. Plus having it sanitized so that you could wear it again.

What is silly about somebody stealing your personal property and then returning it DAMAGED, and with NO apology...UGH.

I'm assuming that whoever wrote this post has never had anything of value (or even non-value) stolen from them, otherwise you'd clearly be singing a different unbiased tune!!!

PS: I had my brand-freaking NEW camera (with memorable photos) stolen this weekend so I can understand the girls reason for being P-I-S-S-E-D!!!

I don't think it's silly at all. Like previous posters have pointed out, she stole something (totally wrong) and then returned the coat damaged. If I'm remembering this one correctly, the coat was a gift from the owner's grandmother, so it's not like it was just a coat she had, there is sentimental value attached.

Quite frankly I think someone needs to hold the HoHan accountable for her actions. It's got to contribute to some of the downright stupid things she does, and until she faces the real consequences of her actions, she'll just keep on going.

I'm with everyone else. Why is it silly to hold someone responsible for theft and damage to her property? Maybe if more people held Lindsay responsible for her actions, she wouldn't be in and out of rehab.

I agree with everyone else, who the hell does she think she is that she has the right to pick and chose which ever coat she fancies at the end of a night out?? If you or I did that we'd be nothing better than a common thief, it's absolutely dispicable behaviour and shouldn't be tolerated from anyone, let alone some jumped up, washed up media wh*re who thinks the world owes her a living! Hotstuff is right, the only reason she gave the coat back was that there was photographic evidence that she took it, so having also been the victim of theft on a night out I too would sue the thiefs pants off if I got the chance... celebrity or not!

In a world where these "celebrities" drink to excess, relish negative attention and flagrantly break the law, I think that making one of them actually be held responsible for their actions is the right thing to do. I agree with everyone this is not silly at all. I think the fur coat owner has great case AND she can call that model to the stand who Lindsey stole tons of stuff from when she went to a party at the model's house. She has a pattern and needs to be held accountable for this crap!!

Ugh, I totally disagree with you. Although the girl has her fur coat back, it came back ruined! It was a coat of sentimental value to her and Lindsay didn't even bother apologizing.
