Jessica Alba and her fiancé and baby daddy Cash Warren quietly got married on Monday afternoon. Her rep confirmed the news but had no further statement. The couple is expecting their first child, a baby girl, early this Summer. Hopefully we'll have more details soon, but congratulations to the happy couple!
UPDATE: Jessica and Cash arrived a courthouse in Beverly Hills around 11:30 AM and were married about 40 minutes after that. The couple were dressed casually and Jessica seemed "happy but nervous."

However, I really am beginning to think that all these ladies "accidentally" getting pregnant is a way to get their man to commit. Hence the shotgun weddings.
Either that or Hollywood just doesn't understand simple mathematics (sex + no protection = babies). That's certainly a possibility too.

My guess is she felt the family pressure to get married before the baby and to not make a big fanfare out of it. I've read in the past that her father is a strong practicing catholic and she has a lot of respect for his views.

37That's very sweet to hear. Glad she wasn't a publicity-wh*re about the whole thing. Hopefully if they do pocket money for the baby pics they will donate it to charity (that the ONLY way I don't have a problem with stars getting paid millions for pics of their offspring).

40So what if it's a shotgun wedding? At least they weren't trying to hide the fact she's pregnant *cough Ashlee Simpson *cough* and props to them for doing it quietly. After all the wedding hype, Eva Longoria, Katherine Heigl, I think it's great that they didn't buy into that.
