Jake Gyllenhaal looked casual cool out and about in LA over the weekend. It's no playing on the beach with Reese in her bikini, but he was still enjoying his sunny California weather. It's nothing compared for the heat he has in store, however, because Jakey G just landed the starring role in the film adaptation of the Prince of Persia video game. There have been a lot of rumors about who will fill this role, so congrats to Jake for landing the part. There are tons of die hard fans who will be seeing how Jake fills the princely role, but for one woman we're thinking he's already got that spot secured.

14I’M PERSIAN and as a persian girl i know , not orlando , nor jake ( with harsh facial feature , big nose tin lips and small eyes). they don’t look like persian prince at all , i know the only actor who has fare skin, but with dark soft stright hair and his facial features, and his body shape( remmber him in alexander) which resembles a persian prince,and is so perfect for the role would be COLIN FARRELL, and with him the charactor would be more believable to the audience which should be the main interest, any other actor would be a very big mistake.

David K. Zandi is not only an actor, but he is a real life, honest to goodness Prince of Persia! According to historical records he is one of the last male members of the Zand dynasty which rules the Persian Empire.
now after seeing mr. zand( may be they are looking for someone who is famous as well) who is perfect chocie and looking at him i see how correct i was to see colin farrell a perfect actor to play the role if they are looking for an actor who looks like the charactor who is famaous as well.

yes i'm, jake doen't fit the part, this role needs an actor who makes a more believable charactor. jake doen't no matter how much they will try. it would be a disaster.

21Nagoo7, we don't know that he won't fit the part. He hasn't even started filming yet. You may not think so but that is a pretty narrowminded way to be when you can't even wait until a movie starts filming to see if an actor is right for the part. Period.
