Madonna made a splash in her sparkly sequined Chanel gown at the premiere of I Am Because We Are at the Cannes Film Festival today. Guy Ritchie was even there to walk the red carpet with her in her sky-high heels. Sharon Stone posed with her friend to gear up for her amfAR charity event Thursday night. This isn't the first festival for Madonna's documentary about Malawi, but Cannes was a special honor for her. She said, "It's an incredible opportunity for me to be able to show this film in Cannes. To say that this film is a labor of love is trivial. It's also the journey of a lifetime. I hope you all are as inspired watching it as I was making it." Madonna may have her hand in many projects, but it sounds like this is one that she put her whole heart into as well.

26I'm not a Madonna fan for so many different reasons. I think her makeup looks pretty in these pics but that dress is strange. Why isn't she wearing a wedding ring? I just get the feeling with her that she'd rather been hanging out with Justin and fawning all over him, then with her husband. They look awkward together.
