i really don't want to get into the fur debate again... but i don't agree with your statemnt ash, in certain places, like Russia, if you don't wear fur, you die of cold, so no debate is left..... when i'm in moscow in the winter (i have family there), i have to wear fur! of course, i'm always for improving the way animals are treated.....

Well, in certain parts of russia, there really isn't anything else... my dad grew up in Siberia, behind the arctic circle (where it's night for 3 months straight), and they deff don't have things like ski clothes made out of artificial materials to keep warm, so everyone wears fur

Well, although I am a Vegetarian and feel pretty strongly about fur, your situation is a little different from the Celebs we see. They have no need to wear fur in New York, Cali, or wherever else they want to "flaunt" it. Thanks for the info though!

There are certain celebs that always wear fur, that's how I know it's real when I see pictures of them here on pop. I didn't mean to start this whole debate again, but I did say "IMO" at the beginning of that statement, so I will hold on to that opinion whether or not people have the same opinion as me.

I love her yellow dress. It looks so comfortable - hippie-ish and casual. I want one-lol.

I get the "ugly on the inside" comment. She smiles for the cameras but is a major diva with little talent. She is quick to sell out her culture to stay on top. Jennifer Lopez recognizes her Latina background when its convenient for her (aka release of her spanish album) yet her roles as a Latina in movies are minimal. She was quick to get surgery to get rid of her latino characteristics or make them less noticable so she would get cast in more movies.

She's a disgrace to her culture. Some days she has a bronx accent, some days there is no accent, then there is the random spanish accent she uses on MTV3 .... She's about as deep as a kiddie pool.

I can understand the accent thing a little. I'm from Chicago, but I've lived in Texas for 3 years, so my accent is slipping away. When I get really excited about stuff or tell a story my old accent comes back out!

As for her having surgery to get more roles, I don't know if she's trying to diminish her latina characteristics because everyone in Hollywood gets stuff done. Everyone. Caucasians get nosejobs aplenty. I can't believe she's tried to minimise her ethnic qualities anymore than anyone else. She's always gone on about how she comes from the Bronx and what not - and her ass alone has pretty much changed the way the female rear end is judged by the media.

Before J-Lo you were expected to lipo and/or exercise any bit of an ass off. Now people are trying to get butt implants. I can't hate the woman. She clearly believes in the full star luxury/extravagance thing. Some stars do. I just take it as her personality, or at least what she wants to project to keep her fashion and perfume lines viable. Doesn't bother me, even the fur thing.

And while I don't agree with all her divaisms I always get the impression that if she didn't at least go there in part, people would call her that anyway.

So she always looks good - let's look at her busy schedule:
AM - take care of myself - hair, facial massage, pedicure, work out with trainer etc, PM-shop, shop more,shop even more
late evening - put on garlic necklace to scare away husband, do interview about how I want a baby, then figure out what I am going to wear tomorrow.

To me she seems like a genuinely nice girl and she's worked her way up she didn't become a superstar over night she worked hard to get to where she's at.

A definite summer girl!
