Last night the ladies sounded better than the boys for the second week in a row but that was not that challenging of a task. Once again Melinda consistently blew away her competition. Lakisha was also a stand out performance but the best part was when Simon complimented her outfit. While I have not been a fan of Gina's, she finally stepped it up. She was much better last night (minus the screaming). As for the pathetic, let's please say bye to Haley. She is definitely off tonight. As for the second voted option, we all know Antonella needs to go but it ain't gonna happen. Her singing sucks but she's hot so expect to see her in the top 12. So who does that leave to get booted? I'm so annoyed by this Antonella crap! Who is voting for her and why? Ok, let's ignore the scandalous picture thing for a minute...she STILL is not a good singer, and is it me, or is this chick not a snob and a half? This so bugs me! haha

4I think VotefortheWorst keeps Antonella around. I think it is actually pretty cruel. If she wasn't so enamoured of her own singing, I would feel sorry for her. I would HATE to be on a show and know that people were voting for me because I was awful and they found it entertaining. How mean is that!

6according to dialidol, the top 3 girls are melinda, then lakisha, then gina. and the top 3 boys are chris richardson, chris sligh and blake lewis (who i adore).
on their website, they predict that tonight haley and stephanie will leave. i really love stephanie, but haley bugs the crap out of me.
7Whose are these votrfortheworst people??? Do they know that they are acually ruining a chance for someone who actually has talent? Antonella has no talent what so ever! On top of the fact that she can't sing she seems like a little brat who is so into herself its not even funny!
8Melinda on the other hand is incredible! I love that she seems so nice and down to earth.....I love her reactions to the judge's responses! It really is refreshing! Lakisha is wonderful as well!
I like Melinda. I think she is an awesome singer, and she's nice as pie, but when I look at her she kinda scares me. I don't know what it is. She doesn't look human maybe? She kinda looks like a moose. I know, I'm mean. Shoot me.

10The theory behind vote for the worst is that AI turns away some really talented people early on in the auditions in order to put on the "worst" people to entertain American during the audition part of the show. I don't agree with their theory, but that's I think why the do it.

11I usually don't even watch AI but I caught it last night. Melinda is such a FABULOUS singer! Its almost pathetic watching the others try to "compete" against her! She is in a league of her own! Its rare that you ever hear such a voice like hers and she does it with little to no effort. I wouldn't usually say this but she is good enough to go toe to toe with Whitney. I don't even care if she wins this girl is so beyond AI!
12I voted for Antonella!!! Hahahah jk. I HATE HER! The headline on her myspace says some crap like.. "keep talking, you're making me famous". She's such a brat and I wish she would GO AWAY!

14isabellemybelle.....I can kind of see where they are coming from with being upset that people like Antonella are pushed through to teh top 24.
BUT, I think that by VOTING for her, it encourages the producers to keep putting those kinds of people through! Its like, if you don't think Antonella deserved to make it to the Top 24, why are you voting for her?
I entirely blame them for Bucky and Kellie Pickler last year. If "America" (including VFTW) just voted for the most talented people, then the producers would only put the talented people through.

18Since I'm from Australia I don't know much about American Idol, but with all the Antonella drama, I checked out some videos on You Tube of her singing on Idol, and I wasn't impressed.
19well at least antonella is getting some fame out of all this, good or bad
20WE will be having our first Idol season here in Estonia now, starting tomorrow. Can't wait!
