A lot of people thought the same thing about the actors/actress from Seinfeld.. that there was a curse on them after the show ended. But look how well Julia is doing! They're all filthy rich from the show anyways...

I agree with you SU i was about to write that, why try and get a hit show or whatever these people get paid everytime their shows air and their show are played all over the world. They are rolling in the dough so who cares if their shows get canceled or they are lonely. They are laughing all the way to the bank.

I thought Dirt had steady ratings for an FX show, and I think Jen Aniston is fine, I think all of them are doing well, they had a great run with Friends.

Studio 60 was better than the Baldwin vehicle..Perry is getting a raw deal if they cancel it.

But Kudro, Swimmer and LeBlanc.. they are square pegs.. it will be interesting to see what they do next.

I agree with you, Imabeliever, I think dirt is just finding its audience. i like the show but at times it's a little boring or ridiculous. I think they need to start doing more shows that center around the Lucy Spiller character. They need to make her more of a human, because at this point she's coming off as a heartless beeotch.
As for rest of the cast, oh well. maybe they'll be ok.
Does anyone think that Winona Ryder was the one that leaked a story about her over dosing? it's not like anyone has talked about her much lately.

All the "Friends" have so much money they don't need to work anyway. But I think of all of them, Courtney and Lisa are the most talented. And it's remarkable that Aniston ever got on TV in the first place in my opinion.

It’s not a curse, it’s just the way life goes on. After one decade in the air is normal that the public gets tired of them and want some new fresh faces (like Grey’s anatomy)
It’s almost impossible to get another hit like Friends.

About their personal lives, well, that’s also life, one day things are great, the other, not so much, and people go on with their lives.
I don’t think we will hear about them in 5 years from now.

I follow TV ratings closely and let me tell you, Dirrt is doing horribly, it’s losing audience in every episode, the last time that FX release numbers it had 1.4 mil per episode, that’s really bad, but in last weeks FX simply REFUSED to released the numbers to the media (witch doesn’t sound great) . This show was very promoted and those numbers are bad, I really don’t think it will have a second season (witch will be even worse for Courtney, since her husband show will probably be cancel too, it awful and its getting awful ratings)

The problem with Studio 60 is that’s is a really expensive show, and until now it really dint got an audience, the ratings are low and the studio may pull the plug.

Lisa and David don’t really care for media attention, so I don’t think they will try much harder.

And how is that Aniston career is just fine? All her movies, excepting The Break up bombed, not to mention she got spanked by the critics, she doesn’t work since 2005, and her future projects are stucked forever, in fact a may bet that 2007 will end and they still will be there stucked.
Aniston should just came back to TV, whiling they are still offering shows and parts for her, soon she will be forty and we know how Hollywood is nice with older actress.

I agree, they (the Friends) don't need the work. If they want to claim they're doing it b/c they love acting, the should try something that isn't just a blockbuster. Schwimmer and Kudrow seem pretty happy with what they have, even though I'd love to see more of them, and out of all of them, I think Perry would be the one to have the better future. At least I hope so.

Technically, didn't Aniston work when she guest-starred on Dirt? And that play thing last year? Anyway, I'm sure they're al doing fine with all the Friends reruns playing around the world.

I think the beauty of the friends curse is none of the cast really care what the press is saying.. They're making such a fuss about them because they have nothing else to write about. All of the casts keep themselves to themselves and that makes a boring headline so they decided to invent a curse. David hasn't got a hit because he's directing, not acting in anything! Jen has three movies in the work. I'm sick of hearing how she should go back to tv. NO she should not. She can handle films fine. The last time I checked the break up did make a lot of money didn't it? Dirt is also popular. It has a good rating. No there isn't a friends curse.

As for lisa and joey, yes they have had their shows stopped. But I don't think you can hardly call that a failure. They tried something new after friends ended. It didn't work, big deal! I'm sure they are reading scripts as we speak. These people have job offers all the time. They're still popular. After all Friends dvds are still selling aren't they? They still air friends in most countries also.

I like Drew. She is the Shirley Temple of our generation, but come on! Those cutesy kewpie doll faces she makes when she speaks in movies is getting old! Assuming the ex-Friends cast are all 40 or so, and they all live to see 70 - that's 30 years that they'll have to live off their past earnings. I don't know how much they made, but even if it was a camillion dollars, money is easy to blow in Hollywood (heck, easy to blow just living in Cali). They'll definitely need to step up to the plate and do more than sit on their asses living off of "Friends."

As for JA -- she definitely pulled a Caruso -- she needs to hightail her talent-less ass back to T.V. where she belongs and beg for a job while she can still get it. She's horrible in Movies; absolutely no dimension, and way too ugly to play the hot girl lead. Maybe she can start on a new T.V. spin-off, CSI: Malibu.

I don't think starring in tv shows/movies and directing (whether they are huge hits or not) 'sitting on their asses living off of Friends.' They still have A LOT of money regardless.

Friends is my all time favourite, i love them all, and i believe that have one gr8 show and be remembered for it is much better than one good show a series of bad ones.
