Maggie Gyllenhaal and her fiancé Peter Saarsgard were showing off her pregnant belly at The World Trade Center premiere last night. While many felt that it was too soon for the United 93 film a few months ago, now people seem to be ready for a movie about 9/11. Of course it could have something to do with the big names like Oliver Stone and Nicolas Cage. I think it had more to do with good marketing and a great Coldplay song in the trailer. I guess box office sales will let us know if America is ready.

24Not the biggest fan- more neutral than anything else, but she is definitely glowing here. Pregnancy agrees with her. She usually has a very unique fashion sense- which must explain the shoes!

28I loved her in Donnie Darko and esp Secretary. She cracks me up in that movie. He is cool too. What a cute couple. Hopefully they will make it. Jakie is going to be an Uncle. Too cute.

30Wasn't she in Mona Lisa Smile also? I didn't now who she was then, but I thought she was like 40 years old from the promotional stuff. I think someone else said she looks older as well. She is glowing and I wouldn't call her ugly. They seem pretty laid back and from her usual fashion trends, she probably doesn't care what anyone thinks.
31Donnie Darko is a great movie. Produced by Drew Barrymore's production company. Stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore, Noah Wiley, Patrick Swayze, Mary McDonnald. its a strange mix of horror, suspense, comedy and teen coming of age flick set in the 80's. Long after the movie ends you will still be thinking about it.

They're actors and they act. They take parts that challenge them and make them better at what they do. They're not out there trying to be movie stars and trying to be famous. They're out there being actors and in my opinion, they're good at it.

36It was definitely too soon for the other 9/11 movie. The story of one of the planes crashing with everybody dying? I'll pass. At least this one has as much of an uplifting ending as it can get, considering the subject.

39While I think Maggie is a fantastic actress, I also don't see the appeal, physically. She looks good in these pics, but typically I find her fug. I love Peter Sarsgaard, though, he has the sexiest voice. I love how much he's doting on her in the first pic, it's very sweet. I have a soft spot for men who openly touch their wives/gfs pregnant bellies in public.
