Colin says playing the same character Don Johnson made so famous was a no-brainer. He was thrilled to sign-up for a project involving Jamie Foxx and director Michael Mann. But was Don happy that Colin was stepping into his shoes? Sounds like no. When Colin was asked if he spoke to Don ahead of filming, he said
I tried but he never returned my call. But Jamie met him at a restaurant in LA and Don said: ‘You tell Colin Farrell, when he’s through with my jockstrap to give it back.’ And I never got the jockstrap either. I was waiting every day by the post box.

8Well as for Don he seems like a jerk. I saw Taladega Nights the Ballad of Ricky Bobby today and it was pretty good and funny but I just wish thye had had more major funny parts because the parts that were majorly funny were already shown on the preview/trailer.
