More than 40 million people tuned in to watch as David Cook was crowned American Idol last week, and he and David Archuleta have been everywhere since then. This morning the train stopped at the Today Show, where Cook discussed how he attracts the older ladies. We know it's only been a week, but tell us — are you still as interested in American Idol?

No, but I also lost a ton of interest early on when Archie became so big. He annoys the living snot out of me, so I had to look away often.

Nope. Watched the first season with Kelly (and even then missed episodes) and was over it once it was done. haha.

Once they crown the winner, I sorta feel like I'm over it til their albums come out and then I see what I think... but Carrie and Kelly have always been staples. 
David A seriously needs to quit stealing the spotlight from Cook, you didnt win little guy, go home.

I've never watched an episode either. Unless 10 minutes of their giving back special counts, but it was just to see Brad Pitt.
I do like Daughtry though. Glad he didn't win, because it seems like his career is going better than those who did.

I said other, but only because the comment for the no answer wasn't relevant. I have never watched this show, so I wasn't into it this season and won't be into it any other seasons. I think this show breeds talentless "musicians", and I definitely don't support that. Just because a person has a half-decent voice doesn't mean he/she should have a music career. The industry is seriously lacking people with any real talent and people who create songs that actually mean something and will be remembered in more than a year. No runner-up has ever trailed along this much. Clay Aiken got more attention than Ruben Studdard, but he wasn't along on all the publicity stuff like Archie is. It's obvious AI wanted him to win and since he didn't, they still going to cram him down our throats.

Yes! I am a big fan. I really like both David A. and David C. and I'd have been happy to see either take the title. Don't hate on Archuleta! I'm excited to hear both their music.

Other. I haven't been interested in the actual show since Season 2. Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry are the only success stories here.

Sometimes I think I'm the only one on the planet that DOESN'T watch American Idol. Sometimes I'll buy their albums much, much later, though. I liked Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway (yay, break-up music!) and Carrie Underwood's music.
