In some surprising Friday morning news we learned that Salma Hayak is pregnant and engaged to businessman, François-Henri Pinault. We'll admit we were a bit caught off guard by this one. While we'd like to send a big congratulations to Salma we also want to know, were you surprised to hear the news?

I was definitely shocked! I admire Salma for keeping her private life separate from her career...that's a very hard thing to do. Anyway, I wish her all the best!

13As for her looks...well, I don't know how far along she is but the first few months of pregnancy are HARD. Aren't I right, to all the mommies here? LOL What with the tiredness, the morning sickness and your clothes getting tighter and tighter...the last thing on your mind is your looks. Things start to get better around your sixth month, but the first few weeks are torture. Especially since people think you're just gaining weight, and looking sickly, if you don't tell them about the pregnancy. I'm sure Salma will be back to her glam self in no time!

You can keep your private life private if there isn't a paparazzi price on your head. Every celebrity has a price tag for their information and photographs. Congrats to Salma! i've always loved her, especially since she represents Latinas as strong women. She's always acted maturely and has never really done anything to tarnish her image.
