Ashlee Simpson jumped on the braid bandwagon and headed to Las Vegas this weekend to watch her man Pete spin at the Grand Opening of Palms Place Hotel & Spa on Saturday night. It was a family affair with Papa Joe and Jess in the house, and while Tony skipped the event, he was right by Jessica's side in San Diego yesterday. Lauren and Lo left The Hills long enough to attend the event, while Sarah Larson had to walk the red carpet all by her lonesome, poor baby. Pete kept the crowd entertained with dedications to his "baby mama" and father-in-law, but we're going to have to wait to hear more of Ashlee's musical stylings — she unsurprisingly postponed her Summer tour to get ready for her new baby.

6it's got to be hard for ashlee - with the new ablum that just came out - she was going to take it on the road to promote it, and now well..that's not going to happen. there wasn't much chatter about it to begin with and this isn't going to help much.
nice little crowd there at the party though. you have to feel sorry for sarah though - w/ no man...no clooney. what a shame. wonder what she's going to do now.
