Madonna was stunning in white for the launch of her H&M clothing line M by Madonna in London last night. She looks like she doesn't have a care in the world despite the fact that her ex-nanny Melissa Dumas just sold the rights to her tell-all book, Live to Tell: My Life as Madonna's Nanny. She lived with the family from '05-'06. Dumas is now selling out for six-figures to tell the world that Madge is a super-strict mother who doesn't allow television, newspapers or magazines in the house, follows a healthy diet, and demands absolute silence when she sleeps. Well maybe Madonna really needs her beauty sleep. Based on these pics she's definitely doing something right.

I could care less if Madonna's a strict mom. More power to her. No TV for her what appear to be well loved, well attended children? Silence when she's sleeping? These things don't exactly paint Madonna in a poor light.

27I don't see anything wrong with the way Madonna mothers her children. I limit my kids tv time and monitor what they eat, too. And after a long day at work, my kids know to be as quiet as possible when Mommy is taking a nap. I'm also raising my kids with a belief in a higher power. So, all this nanny has done is prove that Madonna is a caring and attentive mother.
As for Madonna's past, we all have a past that we'd like to keep from our kids, I bet, just like our parents before us. I don't hold my mother's past against her. I love her too much to care about what she did in her twenties, long before she even became a mother. I'm sure Madonna's children will feel the same.

Who cares if that nanny tells all. I wouldn't go out in search of the book but I'm not against reading it. It's no big deal - whoa, she doesn't want her kids watching t.v. or reading crap about her family in the papers, and she eats healthy. She sounds like a great mom!
