Carrie Underwood slipped into uniform and stepped up to the plate alongside some of her fellow country stars for the 18th annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge on Wednesday. She played tough before the game, saying, "I’ve got a lot of practice with a bat one way or another the last couple years." Unfortunately, Carrie's confidence wasn't enough to lead her team to victory, but she still looked cute as a button running the bases. Tonight we'll get to see her flex her more famous muscles — those vocal cords — singing at the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

4I really like her - is it true what they say though, that she's not very nice?
5aww doesn't carrie look cute there ...it's a nice thing for the country stars to do. i feel like aside from the celebrity basketball stuff that we see from time to time, we don't see much of this unity.
