Last weekend, Liz Hurley tied the knot in Wales with Arun Nayar. This week, the festivities continued with a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur, India. Unfortunately, the couple's (second) big day was skewed by a spat between some journalists and security guards who were in attendance. Here's more:
The fight began outside Mehrangarh fort, the venue for a dinner, after a television reporter was slapped by a security guard as journalists tried to chase the celebrity couple's car.
Angry journalists then broke through one of the security cordons, setting off a fist fight with the security guards that lasted nearly an hour. No major injuries were reported.
Ahh, the high price a celebrity must pay for fame. It looks like the family still made the best of the weekend though - how cute are Liz and Damian dressed up in their traditional Indian garb? We love that Liz and Arun got the best of both their worlds for their wedding celebrations.

7Is it just me, or is that kid a wee bit too big to be riding on mommy's hip? His head is as big as hers! Certainly a cute kid, maybe a little thrown off by all the media and needs a little comfort, but poor Liz looks likes she's going to topple over holding that boy!!! Congrats to the happy couple nonetheless!

KatGoddess, her dress is linen hence the wrinkles. I don't know of too many people who can wear linen w/o getting it wrinkled. At least she looks good.

I agree... looks like a yellow sundress, not traditional at all! But why would you wear linen if you knew the pics were going to be in your wedding album? Or maybe this shot isn't from the wedding festivities?
19I doubt this was pics from the wedding, Arun is wearing jeans, she is not wearing traditional Indian garb, she only has, I'm not sure what it is called, but I think it's a bindi on her forehead. She's wearing a sundress.
20Ugh, Damian looks utterly spoilt and like a total brat. Liz looks like she is wearing casual day wear there... she'd NEVER go to a party (and certainly not her own) without split to the thigh Versace!
21I love the henna tattoos on her hands. Interesting that the other photo with Arun she doesn't have it . . . . I would have liked to get a better look at the designs.

29Irishgal! I was actually just going to post the same thing!! Im so glad Im not the only one that thinks so. It's sooooo weird how that kid (ironically enough named Damien) looks EXACTLY like Damien from the Omen. The resemblence is frightening. I guess the name Damien really is this weird thing..has some weird sh!t that comes along with it...lol. I never really believe(d) in supersticious stuff..especially around that type of things like curses and name's bringing forth some type of personality thing, but I guess it's true!..lol

32I just thought about Damien from the Omen before reading all the other comments, and it is just so funny that we all think alike - LOL!! Damien Hurley (or Bing?) is one scary-looking, ugly kid. I bet Liz wishes she had had a child with Hugh Grant instead, he/she would have been 100 times cuter.
