It was another afternoon of shopping in NYC for Kirsten Dunst, on a break from filming All Good Things on Sunday. Judging from that smile, it doesn't look like the heat wave on the East Coast was slowing her down any. Now that Kirsten's opened up about depression being the reason behind her trip to rehab, we're glad to see her looking happy and healthy — hopefully a little retail therapy is just what the doctor ordered.

The only thing I find appealing about this girl is the fact that she opened up about suffering from depression - that took guts. Other than that, I couldn't care less.

3i guess that it's good that she's getting back on track and that she seems much happier. i hope that whatever was going on in her life before is gone, and that things just look up for her.

5Why does everyone hate her so much? I've been a fan of hers since Interview with a Vampire, and there haven't been many of her movies that I haven't liked.
However it seems that the public is down on this girl for some reason, and I don't get it. Is it because she's never accommodating to the press? Has she actually been downright rude? (I'm seriously asking, because if she has I didn't know it!) LOL

8What's to make everyone think it WASN'T depression that she was in for? I know people call her "drunkst" but why is that? Is it because the media caught her inebriated once? Okay, so that's just poor judgement, not alcoholism. And what about drugs? Has anyone ever heard of her getting in trouble with drugs? I haven't. I have however noticed, or had noticed rather, that she always looked glum and down in the dumps. Since coming out of Cirque, I've seen many MANY more pictures of her smiling. So perhaps her bad attitude WAS in fact depression, at least that's what I'm thinking. I don't buy that it was anything else.

10Mykie, I absolutley agree with you. Who are we to judge? Why would she lie about something lie that anyway, when she could have easily just said nothing. I think it took alot of guts.

12It was reported she went to rehab, then when she was asked why, she said because of depressions. Could be! But it could also have been drugs, which most people suspected and the depression is a cover up. We'll never know!
