Seriously guys, this idea sounds uncomfortably close to Daily Candy. I'm a little disappointed...it's not as though you don't have enough content that you need to steal (borrow? gleen?) an idea from elsewhere.

I was thinking the same thing about Daily Candy... the Sugar networks are big/established enough to not need to ride the coattails of someone else's idea/product. I seriously doubt you guys were unaware of Daily Candy when you came up with the concept. And if you weren't aware your research is not up to par.

Siouxshe - I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully it won't become a major advertising opportunity like Daily Candy - I rarely read the emails anymore.

Unfortunately I'm with the majority on this one... seems like you could have come up with a slightly different name than something so similar to Daily Candy - when I first read this I actually thought you were doing a cross promo with them to sign up for their emails.

If I come to the site every day why do I need another newsletter to clog my inbox? Will it be that different? Help me out here...

Every time Fab has a competition I ask why exactly it has to be for US residents only but I have yet to get an answer. I mean, there's got to be some legal reason for it, right? Because it can't just be because you're too cheap to spring for the postage costs

In most cases with these contests, the company sponsoring the giveaway usually doesn't ship outside of the US. If it bothers you that much, there's always eBay.
