Just when you think there couldn't possibly be any more awards shows, Hollywood is right there to prove you wrong. This weekend, The Soul Train Music Awards honored artists in R&B, hip-hop and gospel music. Jennifer Hudson, Babyface and John Legend were among the winners. Here are highlights:
"I want to thank Soul Train for appreciating my music and black music over the years," said Legend, who did not attend the show, via a television feed.
"I just can't believe I got the Sammy Davis Jr. award," said Hudson, who also performed during the show. "I'm standing on the same stage where I made the top 32 of 'American Idol.'"
"When you think of songwriting and where it comes from, you go to your space in your room and you write, and you try to write from the heart," Edmonds said.
Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, and Mary J. Blige were also honored but failed to grace us with their presence. I have to wonder where Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige keep all of their awards. Seriously, these women seem to be racking up the awards these days.

2I'm getting tired of JHud, I don't think she deserved the Oscar, but anyway there's something kind of fake about her I don't know what it is but I'm starting to not like her.

14Agreed! Hudson needs to stop with the kisses, especially because she can never seem to get it right (mouth is always gaping wide open unattractively). If you're going to blow kisses, don't inhale air to actually blow!

17I like Jennifer Hudson and good on her for all that she has accomplished but I think that they might be over publicizing her as of lately. People are already getting tired of seeing her and I'm afraid that she might end up as a one hit wonder. Someone with her talents-that would be a shame.
18Rosario Dawson looks SOOOO GOOD!! She looks so healthy and Nondrugged up that I had to do a double take to make sure it was her. As one might say, good for her and keep up the good work!!
19ugh.. am i being silly-- I really dont like J. hudson ne more ever since the whole thing when she said that Simon had basically bashed her the whole time on AI.. and they play back his comments and its nothing but praise..
i was rooting for her at the beginning now i just want her to go away!!
