Jessica Simpson continued to heat up NYC last night, looking fresh-faced as she left the Waverly Inn in her cute little dress. She may fit right in in the big city, but we all know that Jess is a true Texan girl at heart — and now that her career has gone country, she has no plans of doing anything else. She told The Tennessean, "I'm planning on making country [music] for the rest of my life, and I don't want to go back to that other world."
Jessica also talked about her onstage flub singing Dolly Parton's "Nine to Five," saying that she was nervous after going through her breakup with Nick, but that country music has given her the confidence to take the stage again. While we must admit that we'll miss pop star Jess a little, thanks to country music and that cute relationship of hers, she looks strong and happy again.

The whole country music thing bothers me because 1st she tried love ballads, then she tried "sexy" pop music... those failed. Would she have moved to country music if those hadn't failed? 37Oh please, she debuted at no. 41 on the country charts, for someone this high profile that is a disaster. She'll move on to another failure just like she always does.
38Before some of you are quick to jump into conclusion, in that same interview they asked her what if her country album is a commercial failure? She said she would still make a country album for the 2nd and 3rd time. Then they said what if her label refused to pay for it, she said she will fork out HER own money.
I don't think she's making an album to make more money...she's obviously doing it for passion...she already have enough $$$ from her successful business line.

42EW I'm so sick of the Waverly. That place has awful food, there are about 99,999 places in NYC that are better. Waverly is just a scene to get in the door and into the back room. What sheep all the celebs are. This is like the only place they go!
43Ok I did some research and the clutch is Dolce&Gabbana like M5 said. Like J.S., the person who wasn't sure if it was "Chicken or Tuna" would have enough brain-power to design that clutch. I am normally defending celebrities like an idiot most of the time and I just cant defend her. She is pretty but that's about it.
