Friendly exes Mandy Moore and DJ AM caught up over lunch in LA this past weekend. Even though these two called it quits over a year ago, they seem comfortable as pals since they often meet up for dinners out or at parties. Since DJ AM, Mandy has moved on to a new musical man: her latest flame, indie rocker Ryan Adams. Everyone has an opinion on whether or not it's a good idea to stay friends with an ex, but it looks like Mandy and Adam can do it just fine.

i guess it's probably becuase their relationship wasn't as intense as some of the others that she's had. it's nice to see that she can hang out with the guy ....not that i would really want to - but oh well.

I think it's great when exes can remain friends but it definitely doesn't work all the time.

They must have been really good friends before they were boyfriend and girlfriend. It's good that they remain friends. I can never do that with my exes.
