David Beckham rolled through San Francisco like a hurricane yesterday, leaving thousands of screaming fans in his wake. After we caught a glimpse of the whole family at lunch, he was off to debut his new ad for Emporio Armani's Fall underwear campaign outside of Macy's. Soccer lovers and die-hard Beckham admirers were out to witness the unveiling, and it's safe to say it was well received. Most of you were into the other new ad, and you're not alone — David revealed that Victoria also thinks they're great! He gave a few more details as to what's underneath his clothes, saying:
"I always wear the Armani underwear. I’ve worn it in every game since joining the Galaxy. . . because it is comfortable. It’s masculine but it has that feminine side.”
Next time we see Becks suited up on the soccer field, it might be difficult not to imagine what's underneath.

1yea, well... I mean what man doesnt want a lil femininity when it comes to their drawers! Most men like that ......right??
2He's repulsive to me, just gross, especially when he talks. He has a high pitch girlie voice. Oh well, it takes all kinds to make the world go round.
3No, Martini I don't think they all do.
I could just see my boyfriend rolling his eyes at that comment he made.
4Such a dapper gentleman.
5Awww some of those fans has his English number 7 on, thats really sweet. He is pure gorgeous,Thank you God!
6Once in downtown S.F. I caught a little old lady staring at his old ad. Not just looking, but staring. Like, for several minutes. If I had had my camera on me, I'd have tried to snap a picture. It was too funny.
7such borderline insincere copywriting... i have to assume that the femininity line was to appeal to the gay men who may buy the drawers
8if i worked anywhere near that billboard, i'd never get any work done
9So hot...
10Who cares what he said about the underwear......he is incredibly hot!
11me either megln, me either
12That ad is disgusting. I should not be bombarded with a practically naked man (or woman) as I walk down the street. Most of all, children should not be faced with such a disgusting display. We are destroying their innocence and corrupting their values.
13I dont get when people say his voice is very high pitched or girly in genereal
he
has a deep voice with a strong accent from one of the london areas so it doesnt come across quite slow and not the most articulate however i wouldnt say it was high pitched?
I dunno mayb its just me
Anywho becks is hot
14* i meant so it does come across quite slow and not as the most articulate sounding voice*
15goldenballs!
16new people post funny things.
He's a beautiful person, a father, a sports star, and a humanitarian. I think if a child had a question about why he is in his underwear on the side of building, I would say something about that rather than "well hes hot honey. And people like to imagine him in their bed in those." But if you wanna live in a world where kids are supposed to be sheltered from sex, celebrity, and the fact that beauty is something that people are judged on (sadly), you should just move to an island somewhere. And bombarded? Dont look at it if you dont wanna see it. Welcome to America, where people can do and pose how ever they want. I love this place for that reason.

you are way off dear. Telling children that a man on a billboard is there because he's Hot and people imagine him in there bed??? In case you don't remember what it was like as a child, children do not possess the feeling of looking at someone as being "hot". Anything sexual in nature usually makes a child feel nervous and uncomfortable as well it should until they are at an age where it becomes natural and not FORCED upon them. I can't believe you would make such a statement. NO it's not sad (as you put it) that some people would like their children to hold onto the innocence they have for as long as possible, because God knows, when it's gone, IT'S GONE. I saw an interview of prostitutes on the street once and almost all of them said they wished they had, had a normal childhood without anything sexual being thrown at them. If anything is sad it's you thinking children should be put in adult situations when it certainly isn't a good thing to do to them.
18*there = their
19I dont think you even read what I wrote. everything you just said, is nothing that I even alluded to.
20ok, skimming over it looks like if a child had a question about it you would say he's hot and people imagine him in their beds..
I re-read it and see that the wording is a little different than I thought.
21ummm...i wasn't aware men wanted femininity in their underwear....
22i agree lilflowa, i come from London, we have so many different accents in England, and maybe i can see why some people see the East end accent as sort of slow, but he has a manly voice.
23well thanks for admitting that you were wrong.
Trust me, I read over it like 3 times
before I posted it.
24Beckham does NOT have a deep voice. OMG who have you been listening to to think he has a deep voice?
25shannon- i love feeling sexy in my undies
26
Yes, after your comment I went back and read it and then felt like a
Sorry
27There's nothing sexual about this ad for a child. It's a guy in his skivvies. Americans are prudes when compared to Europeans. Too many Americans try to make a naked body about sex, even when it isn't. David Beckham is a gorgeous example of the male physique. For those of us old enough to appreciate him for many reasons, including his sexuality, good for us. Children, on the other hand, simply see a guy/soccer dude in his underwear. You prudes probably want to put a fig leaf on nude statues such as *David* in art galleries, too. The human body is a marvel, especially when it belongs to someone like David Beckham.
28Why do people come on here (an American site) and preach about how great it is in Europe? Then stay on European sites if American ones are too prudish. I mean, really.
29WOW really a man's man's voice...NOT

36His balls look so fake
37He looks so hot ... hot hot hot! I love him. He is so beautiful. And it takes a real man to admit that he likes some femininity in his life IMO.
38
39what is there to say??
40Answer:HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!!!!
High voice, low voice, no voice, I don't care! He's hot.
It's a good thing I don't live in SF, I'd end up crashing into something while driving by.
I don't get why everyone is getting so worked up over an underwear ad, didn't we do this like 20 years ago with Calvin Klein?
41
Mmm, hot, yes yes yes...mmmm.
42J'adore DB... he doesn't even need to speak.
