Lauren Conrad was out with Lo in LA yesterday, after her trip to NYC where we had a chance to chat with her about her exciting newest project with Mark. The initiative is called m.Powerment and will support organizations against domestic violence, through sales from the "Have a Heart" necklace which is part of Lauren's new accessories line she designed — check out the necklace as well as the rest of her line here. Lauren also revealed her beauty tips including applying winged eyeliner. We asked Lauren to share something she wants people to know about her, she said:
"I don’t know. It feels like there’s nothing left. I think a lot of people have the perception that I shop all day and that I don’t work. But I actually have several different jobs and I’m very busy. I get kind of the spoiled brat rap."
LC has certainly come a long way since we met her on Laguna Beach over four years ago and she's been non-stop ever since. Some people may see her shopping every day but clearly this girl is working hard and making something of herself while even giving back.

6No me gusta the ugly tight jeans. Jeans are not meant to look like leggings. They are not flattering on anyone - except maybe Cameron Diaz. They make everyone look like they have a big butt, wide hips, and like they're bowlegged. The only reason these horrible jeans have been thrust upon us is so denim companies can try to persuade us to buy more crap we don't need. And yes, all the Hills people bore the crap out of me. I had enough of those kinds of girls in high school. Unless someone is hosting a Hills-girls dunking booth, let's move on.

8POP ~ What is your obsession with this person. She is so not newsworthy. It irks that she has all of these opportunities when there are plenty of women with legitimate drive and ambition that could deffo benefit better. I mean a necklace puhlease, that along wiht her highly overpriced and underdesigned "fashion line" is disugusting. Judging from the previous post many of your readers feel the same way.
PS ~ If you must post about her can't we have like one post a week? Just a thought...

10you know what- i agree its annoying to see her 24/7 but i gotta say this- i think most of us, if given her position of being thrown into the spot light with all these opportunities would totally take advanage before they are gone. i mean if someone told me hey design a line and we'll produce it, i'd say sure lets go! (i'd hope mine wouldn't be as boring as hers lol but i'd still do it!)

But I am also resigned to know that I will never find out the answer, as questions of "why 'such and such' is posted everyday?" are never dignified with a response!!!

15I like LC and all but it is really over kill and I hate the whoe celebrity label. She isn't a celebrity she's a girl that cameras follow around and she lets them. Don't get me wrong she seems like a decent enough person and I think of all the Laguna Beach/ Hills people she has one of the most down to earth personalities,but come on there's nothing especially spectacular about her show or her clothing line or her talent.
