Last week we told you that Brad and Angelina were far along in the process of adopting another son from Vietnam. We're now happy to report that the application is currently being processed and that the family may welcome a 3 1/2 year old boy in just a few weeks! Here's more:

Officials in Ho Chi Minh City are reviewing Jolie's file and should complete their work by the end of the month at the latest, said Vu Duc Long, director of Vietnam's International Adoption Department.
Jolie can pick up the child anytime after the application is approved, he said.
The child was abandoned at a Ho Chi Minh City hospital as a baby and then taken to the nearby Tam Binh orphanage, where he has lived ever since, said Nguyen Van Trung, the orphanage director.
Shortly after he arrived at the orphanage, the Tam Binh staff tried unsuccessfully to locate the boy's birth parents.
"He is in good health," Trung said. "He is a little bit shy."
The boy gets along well with other children and loves to play soccer, Trung said.
This little guy sounds adorable already! We can't wait to see how he fits in with Maddox, Shiloh, and Z. Looks like Brad is one step closer to having enough kids to fill that soccer team.

That's cool for Maddox - someone to play soccer with!
1Looks like he's going to fit into the master plan of Brad's family soccer team lol. That household is going to be crazy, but a lot of fun I'll bet (I'm a kid sucker!).
2Cheers to saving another child's life! Love this family and all that they represent.
3Congrats to the family!!!!!!!!
4It's nice to see people adopting children. they will have a rainbow coalition.
5Congrats to them. I like that they really think about what children they take in in terms of ethnicity and age.
6
congrats to them!
7That's a cute picture ontop of Brad and Angelina, I hadnt't seen it before. Anyone know when and where it was taken? Anyways congrats to them. If they're happy and the kids are happy, then I'll be happy for them.
8Hmm, I wonder what interesting name this child will have. I'm glad they are getting a boy close to Maddox's age, so he won't get stuck doing girly things all the time with Shiloh and Zahara!
9And so continued the publicity mongering of Brangelina. They must have felt that their aging mugs had been out of the spotlight too long and had a hankering for some more magazine covers. With this, there will be renewed whispers of an impending wedding ... more magazine covers for the altruist pair. Ha!! They are such a hapless, pathetic duo. If they weren't filthy rich, I'd actually feel sorry for the little victims (er, children) of Brangelina, the publicity prostitutes. They are just disgusting.
10AJ is 31. last time I checked that isn't "aging".
11so you don't like them, that much is clear. so why do you bother commenting on AJ/BP posts?
oh, & no I'm not worshipping at their feet & all those other epithets you spew at people who like them...
someone force feed that woman some twinkies!
12oy*
Good for them, and I really believe they wouldn't to continue to add children to their family if they didn't believe they weren't in for the long haul. They just don't seem like the type of people to pull a child into an unstable situation for the sake of publicity.
13I am so happy for the Brangelina! Great parents and they are beautiful people. Thank you for saving one child's life Angie and Brad!!!!!
Darkntwisty is jealous and needs attention!
14Meanwhile, my Vietnamese-born friend who's been waiting for her little girl from Vietnam for more than a year still hasn't heard when she can go get hers.
It wouldn't be such a big deal had AJ not made such a big deal about Madonna's adoption as if AJ were the moral authority.
"I did not achieve this position in life by letting some snot-nose punk leave my cheese out in the wind."
15-Edward R. Rooney
I believe that AJ actually filed the papers for this adoption after Shilohs birth but since we are just now hearing about it it seems like the adoption process was really fast- grant it it still happened pretty fast but not as fast as the media makes it out to be. Can I say fast anymore
16thanks jessness. I was gonna let someone else field that one...
17I'm so happy for this little boy. He finally gets a family and a good one too. Also Madonna was asked about AJs comments and said she believed her words were taken out of context, since the media did the same thing to her.
ilovefab4, I hope your friend gets his/her child soon.
18ok, so what about child from the middle east? or one of those old soviet countries? i know they are doing a good thing, no doubt about that, but i can't help but to feel a bit turned off from the whole "santa angelina" thing after seeing those obvious photo ops from somewhere in africa the other day. she's doing good, and making damn sure we know it!
19But those photoops are part of being an UNHCR ambassador. It's a huge part of the job description. Without them she wouldn't be doing her job.
20"photo ops from somewhere in africa"
Apparently those photo ops were not very effective since it did not even raise your awareness about the issues and places she was talking about
21I love that look they are giving each other!!! YUMMY!!! That was taken at the premier of Brad's movie "God Grew Tired of Us"...which I'm still dying to see.
22they weren't "photo ops". they were photos taken to go along with a story in Newsweek about the crisis in Darfur. Go read the article & then come back & talk about the pics...
23They won't stop until they've adopted a kid from every third world country.
24I honestly love these two and their entire multi-cultural family. They make sure that each child is aware of their own culture too, not many people that adopt are that concientious of the fact that their children would like to know where they come from. Respect their cultural traditions. LOVE THEM! Go Brangelina!
25Do you think they'll adopt me?? Nevermind that I'm 25 and married lol. All kidding aside I think it's great what they're doing, every little bit helps.
26CourtneyJade actually has a good point. When I give donations to charities or volunteer at women's shelters or law clinics, I don't put my canceled check up on my bulletin board at work or take pictures of myself during my volunteer efforts and strategically place them around my office so that others will admire my efforts.
I'm sick of everyone thinking the zebra has miraculously changed her stripes. She has always clamored for the camera and always taken "interesting" steps to ensure that the cameras stay around. Hey, she is what she is. What's wrong with calling her that??!? All the naivite on here is just sad. I don't even hate her but everyone thinking she's a saint just gets to me. She's a woman who thinks very highly of herself - I would even go so far as to call her a narcissist and I actually think the same of Brad. When you see them out and about it's clear from the looks on their faces that they are smug and full of self pride. Heck - I think it even shows on her face in the above picture. And it's widely known that he's been getting B injections for at least five years. They adopt because self-loving AJ can't stand the thought of being overweight. Her limbs where gaunt as hell all through her pregnancy and she was wearing a girdle like two weeks after giving birth.
It's called self love people and if you ask me, they're both self-love-aholics.
27Oh here it goes... Here come all the haters. So annoying.
I think its great what they are doing. Can't wait to see the cutie.
28OK darkntwisty WE GET IT you hate their guts! Jeesh already! This is getting pathetic now!
29well its terribly sad that you think that people can't change and grow over time. I don't know about anyone else here, but I am far from naive. I just have faith in humanity & respect those who do good in the world
30Good lord Sashak - we've read the f*****g article for God's sake!! It's all you worshippers have been talking about for the past two days. Photo-ops accompanying articles can't be photo-ops just the same? C'mon - did you really just suggest that!?!?
31Hey they can self love all they want, so long as that love makes it to the kids, and they are willing to give to make the world a better place, I'm not going to knock it.
32(and I personally don't like Angelina, never have, never will, to disclaim my above post lol)
33Congrats to them and all the best.
34You clearly can't fashion an arguement w/o attempting to insult people. We get it. We all know you dislike this family. I, in no way, shape, or form "worship" them. I simply admire them for their works. too bad if you don't like 'em & too bad if you don't like those who do
35Beautiful family! congrats to them
who thinks we're gonna hit the 200+ mark again on this post? anyone...?
36ha, I'll bet on that! I still have briefs to write tonight so I'll let the battle continue w/o me
37What's the point of critizing something like adoption simply because you don't like her/them. Seems kind of silly to me. I think the concept that a person would adopt children to get attention is just crazy. Oh and as far as the "photo op comment", she's a goodwill embassador it's a part of the job. Quite frankly, before "Brad" she was doing exactly the same things. Including writing about her travels and plenty of photo ops. She gets the negative attention and criticism now because she "stole Jen's husband" and the hopes of half the women in America LOL. Quite frankly I like her simply because she doesn't care about being likeable. She lives her life, has her kids, does her thing, and doesn't answer stupid questions from Ryan Seacrest.
38Meh, don't like her, used to like him, congrats, bliddy blah blah blah. Frankly, the flux of Brangelina news is wearing me out.
39Guess what darkntwisty, nobody wants a photo of YOU doing your good deeds because YOU are not a celebrity.
40If something irritates you so much, (such as Brangelina posts), why do you go out of your way to comment on it, and try to create so much negativity? If this is your approach to life, you must be surrounded by misery.
sashak - - are you an atty or in law school?
41There's nothing to "hate" about them, but I have to laugh when people give them kudos for "respecting the cultural heritage" of Shiloh and Maddox--both of whom were renamed by AJ! You'd think the names from their respective native cultures would be a valuable link for the children to keep...probably the only thing they still had from their birth families.
42Darkntwisty, give it up for the sake of your own sanity. You'll go out of your mind trying to argue with Brangaloonies about something that they won't accept any other opinion on. In fact, some of them act as though they're being personally smeared upon with your words, despite the fact that their idols will probably never acknowledge their existence. It's more amusing to just watch them crow over what wonderful and commendable work Brangelina have done. I suggest doing the above with a tub of popcorn.
43that I'll respond to! yeah, I'm in law school
44sashak I am a 1L
, I share your pain.
45& Shiloh is the biological child of Brad & Angie. so her cultural heritage is just like that of everyone else born to white Americans...
46I'm more excited for the little boy, his new big brother and his two little sisters. Just beautiful, and all those who've got a less than joyful opinion about it all and are all puffed up about why a kid wasn't gotten from somewhere else, or why come Jolie's wait wasn't as long, I don't care. I'm just happy that another kid is getting a chance he didn't have before.
47Right, sashak! I meant Maddox and Zahara (sp?), don't know why I said Shiloh--oops!
48"Meh, don't like her, used to like him, congrats, bliddy blah blah blah. Frankly, the flux of Brangelina news is wearing me out."

And yet, here you are. I love how so called AJ dislikers are never far away from the focus of their ire, and I also love how your kind never fail to toss out a "Brangaloonie" (in this case your bud darkntwisty) in an attempt downplay the fact that you ARE chasing down threads of a subject you swear you're fatiqued with. Don't know about anyone else, but I find it a bit wacky wasting time on a subject I'm tired of, and one I have a choice not to pursue.
49Brangaloonies... lol that's funny no matter which side of the fence you sit on.
