Beyonce spent the day on the set of her new movie yesterday, but it's not all work and no play — last night she kicked up her heels and threw a dance party for her sister Solange's 22nd birthday in LA. It seems like no event is complete without Samantha Ronson spinning these days, and of course Lindsay Lohan was right there to hang out by the booth. While Solange wins the award for most attention-grabbing dress, she made sure to keep the dance floor rocking all night long by asking that Samantha play plenty of her sister Beyonce and brother-in-law Jay-Z's famous hits.

3I think it is very considerate of Beyonce to wear something so simple, so her sister gets the spotlight on her birthday.
Add this to the fact that she kept her wedding so private and didn't sell the pictures for publicity...it all adds up to some pretty respectable behavior. Very nice.

7They're all fabulous! Mom and B coordinated the simple black to set off little S's fab orangesplosion, indeed! Even Lindsay looks great, though she's quite posed with those pursed lips.

16it's as if solange was like you guys have to be as understated as possible no hair no makeup no color and then i'll wear the loudest craziest brightest dress i can find -- that way for sure they'll look at me and not at you beyonce.
actually her dress is ok -- for a dress that beyonce's mom probably designed -- but the shoes are horrible
and i agree that beyonce looks gorgeous like this, she's always over the top it's nice to see her look natural
17cute pic of bey and sol. Though Solange's dress/shoe combo is a bit much - she at least should've worn a much simpler shoe , if she was wearing such a crazy dress.
