I agree with the other comment, the fact is that those furs are killed in a very cruel/violent manner. Anyone who does any research knows this. Animals deserve as much respect as we humans get. after all they do feel pain just like us.

I thought that Kate and Stella McCartney were friends, or did I just make that up?? From the way Stella gave Madonna so much grief, I hope she's giving just as much or more grief to Kate for wearing this heinous coat. I have seen Kate pictured a few other times in fur coats too, so she is def. not a first time offender in this rag. Anyway, that's all I'll say, I'm tired of commenting on her poor fashion choices.

colormesticky, I completely agree with you, and it's even sadder when you think it was actually DOZENS of beautiful animals skinned to make it. These two make me sick for numerous reasons. I feel bad for Kate's child. I recently read in Hello magazine that Pete has a kid too! A little boy and the kids mom says he rarely visits.

There's a big difference in eating meat and in skinning fur from animals. When you eat something like a hamburger, the meat, skin, and basically everything is used. Skinning animals for fur is absolutely pointless. The animals live horrible existences while they are alive, die horribly cruel deaths (try anal and vaginal electrocution, beat to death, drowned), are sometimes skinned alive when they did not die from the forementioned killings, and then there is no use for their poor liveless bodies, except to feed the other living animals on the fur farm. This is cannibalism, imagine eating the dead and you will get an idea of what these animals do for the sake of "fashion".

That is really gross. Thanks for filling me in though Ashleyk4214 I never really knew what happened. I never liked fur before, just because I thought I would feel sick if I ever had it on. But, now I really don't like fur now that I know how it all goes does. I guess you really do learn something new everyday at pop.
