There was lots of family love to go around for Nicole, Joel, and Harlow in LA yesterday as they shared kisses and hugs during a stroll through the park. After spending some time enjoying the weather, the adorable trio and some friends headed to the toy store to pick up some new treats for the baby. Nicole and Joel seem so happy and in love these days, but Harlow's already stealing the spotlight in her monogrammed bloomers.

16I know this is not a popular subject, but is one that is talked about behind closed doors. She claims to be African American. It's now known that she has maybe 1/8th African American blood in her. She why does she still say she's African American? 10 yrs ago, she labeled herself as causation, but then 3 yrs ago, she put on her driver's license African American. I just think it will be very confusing to Harlow since she looks 100% white. Nicole herself looks like she has American Indian mixed with Caucasian ethnicity.
People ask me what is my ethnicity all the time (I'm not white), but I would never say that I'm a certain race when I'm not. Lionel Ritchie is African American but she isn't even blood related to him. That would be like Zahara saying she is white just because her Angelina and Brad are. Race is not something you can acquire because of the different people that may come into your life..you are born with it.
17I think perhaps the baby isn't as stunningly pretty offhand as, say Shiloh, but that she still will likely be cute as she gets older. I know I wasn't the most gorgeous baby ever, but I turned out just fine in the end!
And certainly there are some child stars who started out cute and then ended up kinda ugly as adults, so really you can't tell at this point.
This is why I would call all babies cute in general. They're babies!

Ugh, yes nicole is african-american... just bc someone is fair-skinned does not, not make them 'black'! Nicole as a person of mixed heritage, has the right to describe herself in whatever way she feels is the correct way, e.g. Tiger Woods. Also, I would just like to say look at garcelle beauvais-nilon's babies with her white husband, they clearly both (very light-skinned) look like they could have fallen off the same family tree as nicole. Now, please go on the internet and google "black people" and see the amazing array of shades that we come in, from peach to blackest black, red heads to the darkest black hair, and last but certainly not least, blue eyes to black eyes....
then continue ur talk on race behind "closed doors" but I would recommend you finding some more people of color to discuss your issues with!

As to the mohawk, my Mom used to do that to my hair when I was a baby too. Not to give me a mohawk, but because the LITTLE hair I had was so fair I looked bald and everyone kept telling her what a cute "boy" I was. So, she started doing up my hair just so there was enough of it to tape a bow to. Yes, I said tape.
