Ashley Judd has taken time off from acting to focus on her work as the Global Ambassador of YouthAIDS. This week, she headed off to Mumbai, India to help promote awareness and help women in the fight against infection. To Ashley, working with these women "is an essential tool to preventing the HIV/AIDS emergency from exploding any further." Considering India has the world's highest number of people living with HIV/AIDS helping to educate is certainly not an easy task. Lots and lots of gold stars for Ashley!

I love Ashley Judd, esp with her new long hair. Good to see celebs doing good!
she needs some frizz ease to go with that eyeliner!
She's not looking so "fresh faced" anymore. Time is not being very kind to her.
Kudo's for her AIDS Awareness campaign.
I love that she's doing good for a great cause! She is looking older..how old is she anyways?
her hair prob is like that b/c of the hot weather in india
well, hot & humid
Glad about the cause, but I just don't like ashley..too stuck up for me. Something about buying MM a dictionary while they were dating so he could look up the words she spouted that he didn't understand..that irked me.
aprild, I was just going to write that...I have friends who live in India and they say it's like an oven as soon as you get off the plane, very hot and humid.
She's 38 according to Wikipedia, I think she looks good. I always liked her. She has a great body, I think she does a lot of yoga (I remember reading that somewhere).
Glad to see Im not the only one who's hair frizzes out in the humidity! Though mine gets worse than that even with Frizz-ease!
She needs to draw in her eyebrows. And trim that hair. It's still admirable she's taking on the issue in a country where AIDs is so rampant!
From what I have read of her, she is very devoted to this cause... not loving that look though.
While what she is doing is totally great, she always struck me as someone with an "air" about her in interviews. It's interesting because I never got that vibe from her sister or mother. She was stunning in short hair. I think her hairline is such that it looks better with some bangs.
I think she's gracious and elegant. And what a wonderful cause to get involved in. She has just risen to the top of celebrities that I admire.
i have always liked her, she seems to be someone who tell it like it is. and yes she looked alot better with short hair
TEAM FLUTTER!!!!!
She's classy, smart and beautiful. So what if she's having a bad hair day?
I hate to say that she doesn't look so good, b/c I agree that she is gracious & elegant & beautiful. And the cause she is raising awareness for is awesome.
i got fifty on angelina being in india within the month- can't let Ashley steal her thunder or threaten her crown...
i think she still looks pretty w/o makeup. it's funny i just realized she and angelina have the same initials.
She must have had something done to her face - her sweet freshness is gone, and she looks so different. I used to love her, but in these pics, I hardly recognise her.
Not diggin the hair.
Whoa, she looks harsh!
I looooooooove her. Now here is an actress that is doing good with her celebrity instead of shopping all day long every day. I think this is a really important cause too! I wanna get involved!
in regards to hair....she is in india. give her a break.
she doesnt look 2 good here
yikes, that frizzy hair. is it that humid in india?
She looks a hot mess.
she does look like she needs a tiny dab of frizz ease but she's still time-less. I've always loved her.
PEOPLE - you'd look that way too if you were in India with the humidity. And who knows where she is staying? Maybe she opted for a non-grand hotel and has an odd shower or something? Leave her alone! She's doing good in the world and that doesn't require someone to be glamorous and put together. Personally, she's probably more mentally put together than all those glam-bots jumbled into one. Grrrr.
Love her and love that more and more she's being reconized for her efforts in helping not only in Asia but Central America also.
siouxsie, you never let me down.
Someone please show that girl to the FrizzEase. Ain't no shame in that game 'cause Lord knows I've been there but shoot there's cameras reach for the FrizzControl chica!
This is why I like her. She is so not vain! She also does good works quietly. Bravo to her..
hahahhah when i first read the headline I left out the word 'awareness' LOL!!!
andaman, if everyone was "quiet" about their goodworks, how would others like yourself and me ever know that there ARE places people & travesties that we also may be able to assist in helping to bring change? Would it be more acceptiable to you if none of them acknowledged their outreach? Should we simply start calling up a country now an asking if there's any atrocities or catastrophies going on there because celeb's have chosen to keep their helps under their caps? Sorry, but this is SO not about what makes us feel comfortable and especially unseen and I think Ashley would very much agree.
She is someone I could hear more about.
I think what she's doing is great.
My friends who've been to India said that it's so humid there that all your makeup just melts off and that some of their clothes rotted in their bags.
Wow! What's up with her hair?!
