Jessica Alba showed off her new mom glow on a trip to Bloomingdales in LA on Friday with Cash. She looked adorable and stylish with her trendy braided hair and ombre maxi dress, but her big smile is what made the ensemble. The new parents kept their Fourth of July on the low key side, maybe because Jessica is already thinking about how her and Cash's personalities will affect baby Honor. She recently said,
"Kids' personalities have so much to do with the parents and their mentality. If you're very paranoid and uptight and won't let your child cross the street, they are going to take on that anxiety. If you're a little more laid-back and make your kids responsible for their actions, you'll probably have an easier time with them. I guess I'll find out."
It's hard to stay relaxed when you've got a little one to chase after all the time, but maybe retail therapy and smoothies are just a couple of secrets to keep Jessica and Cash happy and grounded parents.

as for her parenting advice, i guess there's something to it - i just don't know if she's necessarily the person to be doling it out .
3I like her. I think the smile is a rare occurrence because the paps are always IN HER FACE, notice in this picture it is taken from a discreet distance and her space wasn't invaded. She is comfortable so she smiles. I just don't see her as "Miseralba" I see her as harassed by the paps and tired of it.

7Agree w/ bdiesel, but hey, the longer it takes to lose the weight, the longer we will be spared of her movies! She did not blow up as much as BritBrit, but definitely quite a bit. Would love to know what goes on in her head, for someone so obsessed about their own looks, it must suck!
8On the other hand, not being a fan of hers, I have to admit that they see very grounded, normal parents who take care of their kid, unlike OTHER celeb moms who are always out partying, hanging out, etc. Take note, Aguilera, Richie and Moss.

The only reason her face even looks remotely "fat" is because she was SO tiny before. I think she looks great, happy, and healthy.
