Lighten up! Maddox looks ADORABLE. He's had a mohawk since he was a baby (his hair naturally grows that way). Sometimes, it's blue, sometimes natural, now blonde-tipped - sometimes he has a
buzz cut. It's what he wants, Fashionista Police or not. He's not harming anybody, just like those little girls with nail polish aren't.

I don't think anyone is saying he isn't adorable but I agree it's a little strange to dye such a young child's hair; boy or girl. I guess I'm old fashioned sometimes. To each their own
though, it certainly isn't harming anyone.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, coloring kids' hair temporarily - usually in a bright color like blue/pink - is not unusual; not all people do it, but it isn't rare. Sometimes the parents
& kids' hair match. People did this in the 1970s too. But then San Francisco has a history of being accepting, artistic & liberal (in the general as well as political sense of the
word): the wild Gold Rush days, beatniks, hippies, punks, goths, etc.
These kids aren't forced to dye their hair because of their parents' whims. They want to do it because it's fun & different.
Yes, I did. My baby brother had one. I don't mean to grow into the stylized, gelled, high mohawk teens used to have, I mean when the hair grows upward & doesn't lay flat no matter what
you do - kinda like a long & giant cowlick. My brother has worn a buzzcut since forever & it's not noticeable. Did you know buzzcuts for boys were popular in the 1950s & 1960s?
It's popular now too, of course.
Angelina Jolie said in a 2002 interview that she didn't know what to do with Maddox' hair which grew like that so she just went with it and gave her baby a baby mohawk. She cut it herself.
Didn't know there were laws about hairstyles & hairstyle police to enforce them.
Ligaya you are right some kids hair grows a little strange - it grows faster on the top and if it is too short it stands straight up. My cousin had it now he just keeps it buzzed.
